“Meep…” He squeaked under his breath, but then took a moment to look around. “Huh, cool.” But the second he looked directly down, Damon stiffened up and tightened his grip.
Scarlet looked back to him at his words. “It’s almost like being truly free, huh?” She said with a warm smile. Being this high was normal for her. “Don’t worry, we will be landing soon. The village is there.” The woman pointed out the village they were approaching. Orchid even slowly started to descend.

There was a small giggle when the Noivern nuzzeled her. With a gentle move she reached up to pet the pokemon. Yes this was a fast way to calm her down.
“Now, let’s go stomp those punks!” the smile that grazed her face was there because the girl seemed to feel at least a little better. Noivern chattered happily at her touch.

Damon nodded, then slid a leg over the saddle before settling down right behind her. “Huh… well, okay.”
“Alright, Orchid. Easy now.” The beast rose into the air as gently as he could. He made sure to fly carefully so the other didn’t get overwhelmed or fall off. They glided forward towards the now visible village in the distance.

“Y-You would really do that?” HOpe fills her eyes.
“Certainly.” Her Noivern nuzzled Madison gently hoping to calm her some.

“Oh, alright. I– don’t think I am…”
“Climb on then.” At her words the wyvern turned his side to the archer and then lowered himself so it would be easier for him to climb on. “I’m Scarlet by the way. Sorry for meeting you in such a way, I was just making sure you were not an enemy.”

“I was just out exploring.” He gave her an innocent shrug, then awkwardly rubbed the back of his head. “I take it there must be civilization nearby? I’ve been running a bit low on supplies, is all.”
He didn’t seem so bad. The woman shifted on the back of her wyvern. “Yes, there is a village nearby. I can take you, if you are not afraid of heights.” The woman knew where it was, and it wouldn’t be too long of a trip from their current location.

The abrupt landing was enough to startle him. The young, scrawny archer nearly stumbled back in surprise, he nearly grabbed his bow by instinct but stopped himself when he noticed they weren’t attacking him. “I’m– Damon.”
He hadn’t drawn his bow, that was a good sign. But she still wasn’t about to let her guard down. “What brings you here, Damon?” She didn’t mean to sound cruel or anything, she just wanted to keep Hoshido safe.
“I see you there, Leon!”

Scarlet had spotted Damon as she flew over a clearing. The woman turned her wyvern so she could watch the other in case they were a Nohrian invading Hoshidan territory. After a moment she leaned forward causing the beast to fly down and land hard on the ground near him. “You, who are you?” She didn’t ready her weapon yet in case he wasn’t an enemy, though her guard remained up. Her wyvern turned its head to the side a bit to watch the man as well just in case quick action was needed.

“I’m very glad you like them, Mother. I saw them and they reminded me of your lovely smile.”
Elizavet smiled softly, wrapping her arms around her mother. Seeing a smile on the face of the woman she admired made the girl rather happy.
“You are so sweet. I think I will have to make you something as brilliant as the stars.” She said softly. It would be fun to make something for her daughter. She hadn’t really gotten much of a chance to do much for her with the war going.

This earned the other a laugh. “I guess you have me there. It must be amazing to command flames in such a way. Fire is not something that is easily tamed.

Perhaps if you wish to have you axe tempered, I can always make the necessary augmentations for you.” Rinkah nodded as she continued to refine and check her work on the loops, putting them together but still not snapping each link shut, not until Scarlet’s part was done.”You grind the stones into fragments?” She inquired.
She placed the still heated links into a tub of cold water, plumes of steam shot up from the water and loud sizzling noises were heard with each chain inserted into the cooling waters.
She smashed down the big ones as the other began to cool the chains. She was so used to crushing rock and stone now that it didn’t take much effort. “Yep, they are ready now.” She dug through her pouch and found a container of her sticky gunk. “Ready when you are.” She was excited herself. The woman was going to be able to show off her gem embedding skills to the other woman.
