I am fascinated that someone still sees Eva Stratt as a bad guy. She did everything right. I would do the same in her place. Moreso, i think Grace actually was wrong. Like. The person who was supposed to go try to save Earth is dead. You are the only other somewhat capable person. And you're like "oh I'm not brave! I can't do it!!" Girl shut up. Shut. Up. Who cares. You're the only hope. For eight BILLION people by the way. Of course when Stratt was choosing between killing you or letting eight billion people slowly die she chose you. It was a hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby situation. I'm so sorry to say this but Grace didn't really have a choice.

Okay i watched project hail mary. My whole dash was talking about it and i gave up, this is the best decision ever. It left me in TEARS.

It was a very aromantic-coded film. Very aromantic-coded. And, idk, maybe it's just me, but did they actually manage to capture that feeling of platonic admiration? When Grace talks to Stratt during that party. You know how they always do this with the romantic interest of the character, how the sun shines on them and wind blows and the character falls in love with them and whatever. BUT PLATONIC. That's what happened here. I'm amazed.
