a little bit about the members of this system under the cut! ⇊
me- the host, all of us, the sum of our parts, etc etc.
dog- dog. likes pats and attention and being picked up. has what i'd describe as a very sensory seeking taste in music.
plushie- the "don't wanna be a person" one. sometimes uses it/its in the third person in place of first person pronouns, and can be addressed this way too, though its not mandatory (i.e. "it wants to play minecraft" instead of "i want to play minecraft"). loves pop music :) particularly charli xcx and sabrina carpenter.
shep- the caretaker/PDA wrangler (lol). the poor bastard tasked with getting us all to collectively lock in (and probably the one writing some of this, now that i think of it). seems to only be interested in kendrick lamar's music.
stardust- the little! just a silly little guy! ambiguous age... we can't tell if they're a child or an adult, or just entirely ageless, but how they act tends to slide around a bit. likes saoirse dream and glass beach.
selkie- the 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 alter. except hes no less asexual than the rest of us. honestly i think he just likes getting a reaction out of people... prefers more ambient tracks. everyone else's tastes in music seem to be a bit overstimulating for him... he seems to be particularly fond of the signalis soundtrack.
spite- definitely the anger holder. also the designated driver lmao he gets pulled to front (much to his chagrin) whenever driving is particularly stressful. big fan of doechii, otherwise is fond of softer more low-key songs.
buffy- idk what he does he's just gay and annoying /silly. he's just here to like serve cunt i think. has probably the most eclectic taste in music out of anyone else in here. favors more "emo" or metal-style songs.
ori- literally a fictive of my lancer pc 💀 the part of my brain hes made of basically got poured into an orion-shaped mold and he popped out. dad rock enjoyer, especially foo fighters
jaybird- also responds to jj and jay. what if your inner teen was a Whole Separate Person. likes markiplier and video games. and fullmetal alchemist. she has one (1) song on her playlist and it IS the fmab opening theme. (she also likes saoirse dream. what is it with the trauma holders and that artist /silly)
deimos- yes, like from madness combat. Designated Gamer. easily ragebaited. loud as hell and certified yapper. likes a lot of hip hop, and typically anything louder and fast-paced. ... and the madness project nexus soundtrack. bc yknow. madcom fictive lmao
pg- we're not really sure what his deal is? besides probably being a protector and having a VERY dry sense of humor. his presence seems to be able to block intrusive thoughts on occasion so that's cool. surprisingly enough, he seems to like femtanyl and shirobon!
wheatley- just fucking showed up one day. certified yapper and astonishingly easy for him to front when he's present, but really only seems to show up to play vintage story 💀💀 might also be a Designated Gamer? seems to enjoy sabrina carpenter as well
👽️- yeah idfk. theres just. some kinda alien in here. hes like completely nonverbal and seemingly also doesn't want to be named? so we've just been using the emoji as a shorthand for how to refer to it.
hien- we got really into final fantasy xiv and blorbo'd too close to the sun. ... again. he's pretty chill, tbh
it’s good for you to look at things that make you lightheartedly say “ew” while snickering like a little kid and then carry on. i say this genuinely. it will shift your knee-jerk reaction towards things that mildly disgust you away from fear
sometimes it’s bugs. sometimes it’s a funny-looking doll at an antique store. sometimes it’s bad art that you made.

Like, you'll see an article saying something like "scientists studying the movement of tectonic plates", and then in the comments there'll be several smug people saying "smh why are scientists doing this instead of finding a cure for cancer", like. and then a whole wing of people just decided “oh, it’s sex???” beyond all logical reason and even when the show had children fuse and people with parent-child relationships fuse decided that that must mean the show was condoning pedophilia and incest and rape rather than realize that they just catastrophically misunderstood the entire premise of Fusion, even though the show literally had the main character sing a silly little song about it in the very first episode it came up in which blatantly spells out the concept of Fusion as “the person you are together”
