The mid to late 1980s indie scenes in Britain from C86 to Shoegaze are a lost moment in music history. A Scene In Between looks at the fashions, personalities, and youth cultures of that era. Author Sam Knee has unearthed literally hundreds of previously unpublished photographs of the people, clubs and bands of the time including My Bloody Valentine, The Smiths, The Pastels, Television Personalities, Primal Scream and countless others. Updates

Hello. Thank you for taking an interest in Flowers on the Wall RadioOooOo. I was abroad for some time, so the show went on hiatus. It will continue for a bit longer, I think. Lots of other projects are taking up my time, paired with work and other responsibilities of "adulthood". 

I'll let you guys know when everything gets back up and running. In the mean time, you can check out the playlists on the blog or listen to some mixes which I have published online right over here. 

I'm still coping with having seen My Bloody Valentine last weekend. Did any of you catch them on their U.S. tour? Mind-melting. Someone's ear started bleeding after their set at FYF (allegedly). I would have expected nothing less.

Check out the new video for “Two Thousand Hands" by SISU. This is easily my favorite song off of the Light Eyes EP. The band will be stopping by Origami Vinyl tomorrow night (Friday, 6/28) for a free in-store performance at 7pm! It’s going to be rad, so be sure to come by if you’re in LA. 

After that’s over, head to FIGat7th in Downtown to see Allah-Las, Prince Rama, and Gothic Tropic! My friend Mukta and I will be DJ-ing (as Honey Power). It’s going to be fun, and the best part is that it’s free + all-ages! Hope to see you there!

Honey Power: Volume 1
