July 2026 | King Philippe and Queen Mathilde received two Belgian actors, Annie Geeraerts and Ray Verhaeghe, who have been playing a couple in the same TV soap opera for the past thirty years and both will be 100 this year. They've even been listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the "oldest soap opera couple".  Every Belgian who turns a 100 years old receives an autographed picture of the King and Queen.
