Ahhh finally it come down to this panel huh? I have seen everyone slandering Saiino for this.

Honestly it’s a bit confusing. I think from this panel we have a confirmation that Ino can’t do Long Distance Relationship stuffs. She is also saying “i’m also a bit envious being able to stay forever a girl in love” I dunno? Maybe she means “forever girl in love” is that kind of giddy-type of love? Like Sakura can be so enamoured everytime despite Sasuke is gone for a long period of time, not like Ino?

It’s a bit contradictive because in episode 33 we see Ino act like “fangirl” and giddy when Sai touches her, and in the Kakashi retsuden novel, saiino potrayed as a couple who’s showing PDA, it seems?

Or maybe Saiino has different ‘spark’ than Sasusaku has, but, hey Saiino are HAPPY, supported by canon stuff. And by the way, every relationships has their own dynamics though. Saiino have theirs, Sasusaku have theirs.

But honestly I think its just their teasing banter tho, I think Ino is only teasing Sakura about how still in love she is everytime Sasuke will come home. That’s it. But you antis always have to interpret it into some negativity huh?

Ino is basically saying that although she much prefers her style of marriage with Sai where she gets to be with him and see him all the time, she does understand there are still positives of Sakura’s style of marriage with Sasuke where they don’t get to be with each other all the time. As Sakura gets to still always feel like a young ‘girl in love’ rather than a wife as although she doesn’t get to be with her husband all the time and doesn’t know when she’ll see him again, Sakura instead gets to feel that period of excitement of waiting for the person she loves to finally arrive and can prepare gifts to welcome him with (which is whats happening for Sakura here as she’s so excited and buying flowers) and when those rare times he does finally come home, its very fresh and worthwhile. Ino prefers her style of marriage but can recognise Sakura isn’t lonely like she thought and that Sakura’s type of marriage has its benefits too.
