My name is Ethan. I am the father of one. My wife and I both decided to hunker down with my father when the sun disappeared, because he has a bunker.

It's been two years since then. He has it all figured out in here, and food is alright for the four of us. Recently, we found out that the internet has somehow come back online. I plan to take advantage of this, despite my father's denials.

I need to know what's out there. We can't just stay here forever. Something horrible may happen, and I need to be prepared in case it does. If the internet has come back online here, then it must have for the others as well.

Hello. I'm Daisy, Annalis' mother.

I think out of all that happened here? What I missed was waking up early, with proper rest. Since the loss of the sun, it's been more difficult to keep track of the time and to make sure to sleep properly.

Anna has been... sleeping more than she should be. I suppose our bodies' internal clocks are in disarray now, what with the lack of sunlight we all receive.

I find myself yawning more often.

I miss the sunset. I miss the sunrise. I miss the birds that chirped outside the kitchen window when it was 5 AM, and I had to ready the house for our family to start the day.

theres... aliens. most folks call them strobes. theyll flash lights at you and if they do, youll die. theyre around the warm spots because of their ships or some shit

just dont trust anything new

Do their lights affect CCTV? Let's say I were to check footage for the outside. If there were a strobe and it flashed a light at the camera, and I saw it, am I screwed?

i.. dont know. theres been some videos of the lights before, but not directly. im not one of the sciency types. i wouldnt advise looking at it for long anyway
