Is it flutist or flautist?
I'm going to assume you're genuinely curious here. Either is fine.

tips on how to be a chill/not annoying freshman in band?? I know a couple upperclassmen but I just want to get to know more people
how to be a chill/not annoying freshman! thanks for asking this question. here is my advice:
1. respect everyone: chaperones, upperclassmen, other sections, or other bands. itâs a way to be seen as mature, and many people would prefer to be around a kind freshman than a rude one.
2. donât constantly yell. please. loud, obnoxious people are never fun. us upperclassmen understand that youâre excited, especially since itâs your first year. but please be calm about it.
3. make friends! they donât just have to be in your grade! ask to join upperclassmen in their activities. participate in squad parties!
4. donât start drama. especially not with the upperclassmen. itâs not nice, nor will it make you popular. of course there are people you wonât like very much, but itâs better to keep your thoughts to yourself.
5. donât mess around when the director is talking. it can get the band in trouble, and can keep people from hearing them. itâs fine to have a bit of fun, but itâs important to listen.
6. be open-minded. being open to change and other peopleâs opinions is important. part of band is learning, and itâs important that you make the most of it.
if you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
7. learn your music
8. actually practice
9. ask for help when you need it
10. always have a pencil on you
11. have your fight song down better than anything else
12. and just genuinely try to be a good musician and a great student!
BONUS: have a couple concertos under your belt to impress your teachers and a dozen pop tunes to impress your classmates
genres are OUTDATED. i sort my music by thottiness, jammability, rebelliousness, theatricality, and depression.

imagine hearing âhall of the mountian kingâ for the first time in 1875. the sheer chaos imagine being some norwegian aristocrat and sitting down for a nice day at the symphony and getting your entire wig and life snatched right before your very eyes

oh to be a nun in 1350 enjoying quiet time and gardening and having lots of lesbian sex and then dying at the ripe old age of 36
Life expectancy statistics measure the average age of death. Because infant/childhood mortality was so incredibly high until recently, it really dragged down that average. If you exclude infant/childhood mortality from your statistic, youâll see that humans (that survive childhood) have consistently lived into their 70s, meaning if you were a woman that survived childhood and never had to go through pregnancy, you may well get a good 50+ years of lesbian sex and gardening!
