You stir awake, feeling a warm lips being pressed against your neck. You bring a hand up to swat your huge boyfriend away, his frame practically crushing you.
He gasps, "mon amour, what's this? are you rejecting my affection for you?" You can feel him pouting against your skin. He hugs your waist tighter, nuzzling his face into your neck.
"Jean.. get off. You're disturbing my slumber." You mumble, trying to twist out of his suffocating hug. He lets out a dramatic huff of air, retracting back one of his arms to prop himself up to lean over you. "fine, chère, i'll let you rest.'' he pauses, "but first, tell me you love me s'il te plaît?"
You let out a grumble, then you turn around and place a soft kiss against his cheek. "love ya.'' you flop back down, starting to drift off again.
Polnareff turns pink almost immediately- eyes glimmering.
When you wake up Polnareff isn't in bed with you anymore. You lazily pick yourself up and out of bed, waltzing into the kitchen. You spot a various of gifts on the counter.
The large bouquet of roses is the first thing you notice, followed y a heart container with chocolates made in france- how cliche of him. but tucked beside it all is a piece of paper. curiously, you pick it up and read the ink.

you roll your eyes, a soft smile tugging on your lips.
It was late at night, around 9:45pm, and you were heading home late after a long and exhausting day of work. You step onto the train home, mind drifting off and wanting nothing more but a bit of shut-eye.
The trains fairly empty- 'Thank god' you think to yourself. You take a seat, expecting to take a small nap.
But then you spot him.
Across from you, sat Akaashi Keiji.
You can hear the gentle pattering of the rain against the train windows. The city lights illuminating your face. The subtle rumbling of the train putting you at ease.
He's sitting directly in the seat in front of you, soft eyes despite his unrecognizable expression. For a few moments you both stare at each other, the tension unbearable.
Yet..
The familiar panging in your chest is unmistakable.
The light catches your eyes perfectly, reminding him of everything of the past and what he had lost.
Then he speaks, catching you completely off guard.
"Long day?"
he says it so softly, somewhat bringing comfort to your ears just to hear his voice again. You let out a soft sigh.
"Yeah. long day.."
He slowly nods his head, pressing his lips into a thin line.
You don't say anything more, glancing out the window briefly. Your stop was at the next station, so you were trying to occupy yourself with what you could have for dinner when all of a sudden-
the train comes to an abrupt stop.
You slip out of your seat at the sudden stop, the railings out of reach. but mid fall..
he catches you by your shoulders.
he's holding you upright so you don't fall, your head pressed against his chest. his ears are tinted pink, but he's scanning you to make sure you didn't get hurt. You can hear his heartbeat- practically beating out his chest.
You stand upright, and he awkwardly lets go of you. "Nice reflexes." You say sheepishly, sitting back down. He lets out a soft chuckle, but he takes a seat down next to you instead. "I wonder why the train has come to a halt." He mutters, looking out the window.
Then the train operator comes on the intercom.
"hello passengers. we apologize for the sudden stop, for the heavy rain has caused a malfunction. the train is unable to keep traveling safely, so we will now be opening the doors."
'great. just wonderful.' you think to yourself. why does this happen the one day you don't bring a umbrella??
Akaashi stands up, conventionally having an umbrella on him. He turns to you.
"I know you don't live too far from here, and my place is just a little bit past yours. We could walk together, if you'd like."
He smiles sweetly- warm. familiar. Like the gentleman he is, he holds his hand out for you to take.
Hesitantly, you take his hand in yours and stand up. "If it's no trouble.."
"Of course not. In fact, it's my pleasure." He steps off the train first, opening the umbrella and holding it above the both of you. The rain around you both makes the air chiller, but his body radiates a warmth that makes you comfortable.
"How've you been? It's been.. awhile." he says, cutting the silence besides for the sound of both of your shoes rippling in the rainwater. He knows exactly how long its been. 689 days. Not that he's been counting or anything.
"I've been well." Which is sort of the truth, your paycheck have been the only thing giving you happiness as of late- but he doesn't need to know that.
Eventually, on the walk to your complex, the conversation flows like you guys never stopped talking. When you both reach your door, he lightly grabs your wrist before you get the chance to open your door. You turn slightly to face him, eyebrows cocked in confusion.
"w-wait. I.. need to get something off my chest before you go." He releases your wrist, retreating back to his side. Nervously, he lets out a soft sigh and avoids your gaze- his face visibly burning up.
"Okay," you nod, turning to fully face him. You feel a small spark of hope stir in you chest.
"I know this was awhile ago, and you might not even remember.." he starts, finally looking up and meeting your gaze.
"The day before graduation.. when we got into that argument.."
he takes a pause, shoulders relaxing.
"I originally had planned to confess to you. That.. I was in love with you. Everyday I regret not telling you before, and I missed you with every passing day.''
Your heart melts. "Oh Akaashi.. I've felt the same for quite some time now." You fondly say, and he reaches out to you instinctively. He pulls you into a hug, a small 'oh' slipping out his mouth. his hands rest on your waist, tight- but not suffocating. his cologne invading your senses.
he lets out a laugh, tucking his head into the crook of your neck. You both just stay together like that, just for a few moments. Just sucking in each other's embrace.
"I want to try again- if you'd allow me. I want to take you out officially." he whispers, pulling back slightly, pressing his forehead against yours.
For as long as you’ve known Rin, you learned that he isn’t the best at expressing his most vulnerable emotions. Or any normal human emotion at that fact. But despite that, you’ve always felt somewhat ‘at home’ in his presence.
But overtime with his growing popularity he’s made more time for soccer and less for you. Which is expected, but still somewhat stings when given thought. Sure, you see him every now and then, but not as much as you’d like too.
You feel a buzz in your side pocket, so you pick it up and see a text from none other than-
Rin?
Almost immediately you open the notification, eager to see what he has to say.
Rin: are you home.
You: yeah
Rin: ok.
Confused by the random question, you were about to reply back until you heard a knock on your door. You lazily waltz over to answer it and are surprised to see Rin already standing there.
The tip of his ears pink, and he has some sort of scowl on his face despite his cheeks being flushed. Looking anywhere but your face, He awkwardly shuffles past you and into your home. Puzzled, you close the door after him and follow shortly behind him.
He plops himself down onto your couch, shoulders relaxing dramatically. You lean over the couch smirk painted on your face already. “This is considered breaking in and entering, by the way.”
He scoffs, though a small smile tugs on his lips. “Don’t be dumb. You let me in.” You let out a soft laugh, taking a seat down next to him. “How’s everything been going? Seen you on tv a few times.” You say, but he’s avoiding your gaze again.
“good.” He mutters, looking around your apartment like the wall is the most interesting thing he’s ever seen.
Gosh, has he always been this difficult to talk to?
Suddenly, he sucks in a breath and finally looks you in the eyes, eyebrows knitted together. “Listen. I came here to tell you something.”
Your eyebrows raise suddenly, resting one of your arms on the couch and lean in slightly. “okay.” Your tone encouraging him to go on. He’s never been one for a heart-to-heart conversation, so what did he want to say??
His shoulders tense up again, as if bracing himself for something.
“I like you.” He mutters it so softly that you almost missed it. He turns pink almost right away.
You feel your breath catch in your throat- cheeks flushing immediately. You just stare at him for a few seconds, mainly out of disbelief
He crosses his arms sassily, looking down at the floor and clicking his tongue. “Don’t just stare like a idiot saying someth-“
“I like you too, Rin.”
He glances back up at you, eyeing you as if making sure you weren’t messing with him.
Kenma's sitting in front of his PC, while streaming a game you literally begged him for months to play- "Tomodachi Life: Living the dream". You're sitting in the comfort of your bed at home, watching the Livestream.
His Island is fairly new off the bat, his only miis by far being Himself, You, Kuroo, and Hinata. He plans on making a few more characters later, but not after taking care of this first.
He runs a hand through his hair, tired look on his face. "chat, how do I make miis fall in love?" he mutters, eyes scanning the chat.
Roosterhair77: Ouuuu someone got a crush?
Owlboi67: CAN YOU MAKE ME ON UR ISLAND
dinosaursRcool: figure it out..???
TinyGiants#1Fan: this looks fun!!
"right ok.." His chat once again, very unhelpful. He looks over chat again, hoping to see your username offer at least some sort of advice. Though you don't- because your too busy playing on your own island.
Kenma lets out a small breath, dragging his mii over to yours over and over again in hopes to make the both of you fall in love. You let out a giggle at his persistence, though he continues to fail.
Half an hour passes and your mii had the love bubble. "Wait guys I think I got it! Let's see what she says." He clicks on your little mii almost immediately, eager to see what you say. Your little mii lets out a highpitched-
You and Sae had been dating for awhile, so it didn't irk you too badly when he would leave every now and then to pursue his soccer career. The only reason it didn't bother you was because you knew he would always come back home.
He would text you throughout the day, but considering his busy schedule- he couldn't as much as you'd like to. Though on occasion he'd stay up late for you just to be able to call and hear your voice before he goes to sleep, while your day had just started. But most importantly, he always made time for you.
On a random cold night, you were cuddled up in the warmth of your bed, doom scrolling away. You were about to fall asleep when you hear a click, then a door opening.
'what was that??'
You lived alone in your apartment, and you hadn't invited anyone over.. was it a burglar? Quiet and cautiously, you tip toe out of bed and wielding peppermint spray you keep in your nightstand- just for safety precautions.
The rest of your place is dark, but you can hear shuffling by your front door. You're about to sneak up on the intruder, spray in hand, when suddenly they flick the light on and-
"Sae?"
Your jaw practically drops to the floor. His face scrunches, "Mi amor- were you planning on using that on me?" He says, gesturing to your pepper spray, unzipping his jacket and setting it on the coat rack.
You sheepishly set it down, "Obviously- but how the hell did you get into my house??" clearly startled by his intrusion. "I was going to knock, but I found a spare underneath your mat. predictable." he mumbles the last part, so you don't register it. You let out a sigh, crossing your arms, "It would've been nice to at least get a heads up. Scared the shit out of me."
a small smile tugs on the corner of his mouth, wrapping his hands around your waist and pressing his forehead to the top of your head. he mutters, "Is this how you greet me, cariño?" pressing a kiss against your hair.
almost immediately you melt into the hug, and almost like muscle memory. "missed you". a quiet hum escapes his throat, pleased by your response. He pulls back slightly- just enough so he's able to see your face. He leans in, dotting kisses all over your face- his hair tickling you.
