           it was something that hanbit was perfectly fine with, hearing words from someone about how they felt a lust towards someone because of how they looked. it wasn’t that odd to him, considering he was still young himself, and sometimes, he would just sometimes take in the beauty of others. how could you not? someone so pleasing to your very eyes, you couldn’t help but to say something to the closest person. maybe other sunbaes weren’t how hanbit was, but everyone was different. he’s not a regular sunbae, he’s a cool sunbae. he can’t help but to chuckle a bit at her words, shaking his head. “nah! i’m not like one of those strict type of sunbaes, you know? unless you’re obviously showing some form of disrespect, then i’m going to put my foot down, obviously. other than that, things are cool in my book!” he stated, a nod of his head. he shrugged his shoulders at the words, “that’s a shame. i guess adoring from afar won’t be too bad then. just gotta let your heart know it’s just for looking,” he chuckled again at his own cheesy words. 

         he grins at the compliment, “thank you, thalia,” he thanks. getting compliments always made his heart flutter a little; probably because of how long it took him to love himself. “you look great as well!” he comments back. “ah, it feels nice getting to escape from the walls of bc entertainment for a while! i get to just bury my feet in the sand and relax when i don’t have the decipher performance or other activities. bc overworks wish like relaxation is going out of style,” he chuckled a tad bit. “i hope you girls are at least getting a lot of rest before having to do other schedules,” he added on. “indeed there is! surprisingly, at least, but bc must of been pretty happy with the success of tell me and the fact it received an all kill in music show wins. but, our next mini album comes out on the 16th!”

            ˗ˏˋ  ❤︎  ━━━ ⋅ thalia always held an appreciation for her seniors that were more light - hearted & less rigid, & for the most part, hanbit had never made her feel belittled or inferior. hailing from the united states of america, the brunette had a difficult time adjusting to the plentiful honorifics, conveyances of respect to elders, & other cultural differences between her homeland & her cultural background, but she liked to believe that she’s gotten a lot better about upholding a pleasant, kind image to those that are her elders, even if it’s only by a few years. the men in decipher had always been extremely kind to her, especially when she was a trainee, so she didn’t feel extremely intimidated by them & all of their experience in the industry. if anything, she hoped that WISH would have similar fate ; that they would last for as long as they did, & amass that much success over - time so that they were household names throughout asia, as well as in the west. either way, effervescent smiles decorated her countenance as she remained in the presence of hanbit, his radiating aura lighting up all of their surroundings.

            ❝ well, i’m glad to know that you wouldn’t allow someone to disrespect you, or your peers, oppa. anyone that does that to you, of all people, definitely deserves a lecture, ❞ she spoke, her tone ridden with slight flirtation, but nothing too overt or obvious. ❝ aw, you’re just saying that i look great because i told you that, aren’t you ?? you little casanova ! ❞ the brunette continued to tease, bringing her frozen dessert closer so she could begin to lift spoonfuls into her mouth ; humming at the array of sweet flavors as she listened to him speak. nodding her head & swallowing her treat, she couldn’t agree more with his statements ; adoring that she, & the rest of her group - mates, were allowed some recreational time between comebacks. ❝ ugh, i know how you feel, & i’m glad that you recognize just how deeply we’re overworked. like, trust me, the money’s great, but... it’s a little wild how often i spend at the studio or promoting. though, speaking of which, i’m so glad to hear that decipher’s comeback is happening on the 16th, oppa ! how are you & all of the boys celebrating, hmm ?? i’m sure it’s beautiful ! ❞

          unlike the way several of hisindustry mates felt, taesung didn’t long for the opportunity of being away fromthe hectic schedule and atmosphere of seoul. especially not now, withdecipher’s comeback right around the corner. a perfectionist workaholic, theman cared about delivering the best he could for the public, always aiming fornot only quality but also public approval – as a seasoned idol, taesung knew none of that would come without serioushard work. he couldn’t complain, not when he had a job he loved, performingwith his members who he cared about tremendously and now being rewarded for it through his fans’ love and a filled bankaccount. no, if it was for the man, taesung would’ve stayed in seoul, takingthe time to finish practicing for their upcoming schedules, for the album theywere about to drop in a few days. however, being a man in a relationship, onethat became long distance more often than not, taesung also knew to takeadvantage of any opportunity they could have to be together. it had been a nobrainer for him to drop by at the festival the day charm would be performing,even if it was just so they could get a couple of hours together.

         the rapper was walking around thefestival, headed towards the food stalls to get him and theo some food, whenhis search was cut short by a hand grabbing onto his arm. he didn’t fight back,even if it took him an extra minute to recognize the woman for who she was –WISH’s lead vocalist, thalia – and leaned forward to catch the words she threwat him. immediately taesung recognized she had probably confused him withsomeone else, for they definitelyweren’t acquainted enough for such a comment to be tossed his way, but helaughed anyway, gums showing as he couldn’t help his amusement. “ oh no, it’s okay, ” taesung shook his head, lookingtowards the direction of the man thalia was talking about, his eyes runningdown his body, eyebrow quirking up in approval. “ i mean, you’re not wrong, ”he nodded, scrunching up his nose. “those jorts are dreadful, though.surely you have better taste than to go after a man who wears jorts. ”

            ˗ˏˋ  ❤︎  ━━━ ⋅ being bathed in the glowing sunbeams of the summer sun reminded thalia heavily of the upcoming comeback that WISH would release the following month ; the music video shot on - location at a glorious beach already getting her in the mood for the festival she took part in within the city of busan. although born in the wintertime, the ‘98 liner had always claimed the warmest season of the year as her favorite ; the freedom, the warm nights, & the multitude of high - energy songs released always bringing endless smiles to her stunning visage. after all, why would gloomy, cold weather bring her joy ?? even with the holidays that took place in autumn & winter, there was no competition between snow & sun. clad in lightweight, breathable attire, & accessorized with makeup that cast a golden glow upon olivine dermis, the chanteuse made sure to take advantage of the heat by exposing as much skin as she was allowed ; her management ensuring that she kept modest when all she wanted was to break - free from their clutches & be a little SCANDALOUS. where was the fun in being safe ?? though, if she had her sights set on a solo release in the near future, she would need to abide by the guidelines set in place by bc entertainment ; their image of her painted as innocent when she couldn’t be further from that, her recent revelations to taesung exposing such secrets.

           knowing that it was him that she had divulged her desires to eased her mind & heart for a fleeting moment, their recent talks of a potential collaboration on a song for his upcoming mini album bringing them closer, but nowhere near the level of tight - knit camaraderie. the vocables he spoke caused her to laugh, her pupils examining the choice of attire that the apple of her eye donned more closely, & while she wasn’t necessarily put off by a garment that hung from his chiseled frame, she was curious as to how her senior would react to some playful banter & teasing, so as a sly smile curved upon her lips, she calculated her response. ❝ oh, c’mon, tae - oppa ! i think you’re just jealous that you can’t wear clothes like that any longer. i guess it’s true when they say that, with more maturity, comes more modest clothing, hmm ?? ❞ she scrunched her nose up towards him, hoping that her light - hearted comment wouldn’t upset him. ❝ in your opinion, though, what other kind of shorts are better than jorts, huh ?? enlighten me ! ❞

soojin absolutely loves the beaches in busan. it’s a beautiful sunny day, and the location is packed with festival attendants. on the days she doesn’t have to perform with lipstick, she plans spending her time relaxing and eating. she’s certainly dressed for the occasion. she’s wearing a simple t-shirt and denim shorts. sunglasses also rest on the bridge of her nose. her mouth waters at the sight of all the food stands: soondae, hotteok, chicken skewers, etc. she wanders off to the food stands alone. the first stand she stops by is a bingsu stand, and her eyes are already drawn to the fruit bingsu on the menu pinned to the stand. fruit bingsu is the perfect treat for summer. as she takes a spoonful to her mouth, the dessert immediately melts once it hits her tongue. she decides to take a seat to enjoy her treat.   

when someone suddenly grabs her arm, soojin almost jumps from her spot. “look at the ASS & ARMS on him!” she looks in the direction where thalia’s eyes are fixed. the older female nods in approval; he does have a nice body. however, soojin’s thoughts are interrupted by the younger female apologizing profusely. after all, soojin is still thalia’s senior. her lips curl into a small smile. “it’s fine. it’s no big deal.” she doesn’t bother pointing out that she’s been sitting here the whole time. 

            ˗ˏˋ  ❤︎  ━━━ ⋅ the women that belonged to her senior group, LIPSTICK, were those that she only became acquainted with after they had débuted ; bc entertainment often calling upon a few of them to offer words of encouragement, critiques, & so forth to the trainees aspiring to become members of the the talent mogul’s latest collective, WISH. in the past, the ‘98 liner had always looked up to soojin, so bearing all of her x - rated truths to her was juvenile, to say the least. however, thalia was thrilled to know that the other brunette didn’t seem too perturbed by the intrusion, & of all of her sunbaes, she was fortunate enough that the dazzling lead dancer, & vocalist was who she clutched upon so desperately. flurries of effervescent giggles continued to flutter from betwixt glossed lips, the bingsu she purchased still balanced beautifully in one hand as she used the other to affectionately rub at the elder’s arm. ❝ ah, i’m sorry, unnie... i hope i didn’t scratch you too hard. i just got my nails done, so they’re nice & long. ❞ she replied, shaking her head back & forth. 

            ❝ being around women all day, every day, sometimes makes me INCREDIBLY DESPERATE for some masculine energy. ❞ she confessed, lithe shoulders shrugging up & down. ❝ like, don’t get me wrong, i love my girls, but you know... sometimes you just want a little muscle, y’know ?? ❞ one elbow extended to nudge her sunbae playfully, hoping she hadn’t made the situation more awkward.

ash nearly jumped out of his skin when his arm was grabbed while his attention was directed elsewhere. a dozen possibilities ran through his mind at first, he could be being grabbed by a plotting sasaeng or an angry manager, but his eyes fell on thalia before he could go into full panic mode and his previously tense stance relaxed at the face of his label mate and hoobae.

he didn’t even register her words at first, but followed the path of her gaze to see the focus of her attention and it was then that her words sunk in. “uh, yeah.” it wasn’t something he’d planned to say, but the words fell out dumbly as his mind faltered to come up with something else. he wasn’t particularly interested in checking out men (or anyone of any gender, for that matter) who weren’t his boyfriend, but due to his relationship being a secret, he couldn’t exactly say that. he also wasn’t sure why she decided to gush to him of all people until she seemed to realize that it was him she had shared her comments with and he understood that it hadn’t been on purpose.

“no, no. no worries. i’m… happy for you?” he ended with a statement-turned-question, unsure of what one was to say in a situation like this. “but maybe you should approach him. might get you further.” he nodded his head toward the bingsu clutched in her hands. “just make sure not to drop that. no man, regardless of physique, is worth the loss of some bingsu,” he quipped with a smile.

           ˗ˏˋ  ❤︎  ━━━ ⋅ whenever it came to thalia & the multitude of her sunbaes in knight, she always found some way to embarrass herself in front of them  ;  mindless banter converting idle conversations into awkward, or uncomfortable, situations. her american - borne lack of filter oft looked down upon by those born & raised in the nation of south korea, but she almost couldn’t help it  ;  she wasn’t DAINTY & SOFT like many women were taught to be in the peninsula she now called home, & though she did her darnedest to conform to social norms & the myriad of cultural differences she’d faced upon setting foot on korean shores, she occasionally had her slip - ups. however, pouring her lewd thoughts & desires out to someone she respected in her company wasn’t in her agenda for the afternoon, so remorse immediately flooded as she heard ash’s melodic tone lilt stammered syllables her direction  ;  her beautiful countenance grimacing with further embarrassment as she fought to remain calm & collected over their predicament.

            ❝ you’re being far too sweet to me, oppa - yah ! i know i’m an absolute mess, & i’m sure you didn’t even want to hear me profess my undying love for the male anatomy, but here we are... ❞ she replied, shaking her head back & forth as laughter continued to seep from betwixt parted petals. ❝ don’t get me wrong, being around all my wish girls is great, but sometimes i just crave some masculine energy, y’know ?? though, i wouldn’t be one bit shocked if you got tired of all the testosterone around you, too. ❞ she teased, nudging him playfully as she felt slightly more at ease now. ❝ thanks for looking out for me, & my bingsu, though. i don’t think i’ll be approaching him because, as you know, i wouldn’t want to end up in hot water for hitting on someone that could be a fan. i’ve somehow managed to escape being in trouble with bc, so i wouldn’t want to end my good luck with stupid articles talking about how i’m some sort of insatiable, ravenous succubus... even if that might be slightly true. ❞ the chanteuse teased, collecting her frigid delicacy & the spoon provided to indulge in a few bites, then, after swallowing the bits of sugar & sweetness, she turned to speak to him once more.

         he felt like he was finally free from the walls of bc entertainment. preparing for the next decipher comeback kept going on and on. he finally got that some kind of escape that he needed from being inside. the beach, the waves, and the sun were truly blessing the kid who was a winter kid (secretly, he preferred the cooler temperatures. but, you wouldn’t be able to get him to admit that out loud.) and even though he didn’t actually have to be there every day, you we’re going to find hanbit at the summer fest every day, having the time of his life. his arms we’re out, brightly colored shorts, and shoes perfect for the beach adored his feet. he felt so content, especially with the checking out of arms from afar that he was doing, and the sweet taste of the ice cold beverage that at within his hand. this truly was the life; a incredible summer event. 

       he hears the words coming from someone else, an element of surprise that took him back a bit. his eyes look upon the other, before he’s couriousily looking at what she was speaking about. she wasn’t wrong. a nodding upon his head, “summertime truly is the season that attracts the beauty,” he responded, chuckling a tad bit. he looks back upon her for a moment, “why don’t you go talk to him? it wouldn’t hurt,” he tries to encourage her to do. he laughs at her reaction, head shaking at her words. “oh no, it’s perfectly okay, don’t worry.”   

            ˗ˏˋ  ❤︎  ━━━ ⋅ long lashes were still parted wide as her pupils drank in the sight of one of her most coveted sunbaes, & the embarrassment continued to settle in upon the realization that she had professed her lewd desires to a man that she’d always respected. having had a few interactions with him due to being members of the same entertainment company made the awkwardness that surrounded them evaporate quickly, though, & she reveled in his response  ;  knowing that his sense of humor was still intact, & that he almost encouraged her indecent slip of tongue enough to give her guidance, made her smile quite wide. ❝ for a moment there, i thought you were going to turn around & give me a lecture, bit - oppa ! ❞ palms pressing together in a kiss as she raised them towards her chin, almost thanking him for holding his tongue when it came to her foul - mouthed fashions. ❝ i just... all these men & all these women are all look so stunning in their light clothing ! the human eye can’t help but wander a little bit when everyone’s C O N F I D E N T enough to show a little skin, am i right ?? ❞ thalia teased, nudging his arm with her elbow playfully. ❝ oh, i don’t think i’ll approach him. he’ll probably recognize me, & things will only go a little awry from there, hah. ❞ she shook her head, then proceeded to give hanbit a quick, somewhat innocent once - over to take note of his selected fashions  ;  marveling at the color palette that he had went with.

            ❝ not to change the subject, but you look really gorgeous today, as well ! i see you’re feelin’ the summer vibes. how’re you feeling knowing that we literally have not a whole lot to do but a few performances & other activities ?? i never expected bc to give us this amount of a break, to be honest... you & i both know how they overwork all of us WISH girls. speaking of which, isn’t there a comeback on the horizon for D E C I P H E R ?? i can’t wait for it ! ❞ ˎˊ˗

kwankyung wasn’t really sure what the five day event in busan would bring, but he was more than ready to spend it doing what he did best - which was whatever he wanted to do. he had been weighed down with schedules out the ass for alien. performances and concerts, as well as plans for their next comeback. it was stressful, to say the least, but he wasn’t one to complain. or, more accurately, he wasn’t one to complain when it came to work. alien had spent a lot of years out of commission after the lawsuit had happened, and now that they were finally getting the attention that he thought they deserved after so many years, he wasn’t going to turn it away. never look a gift horse in the mouth, right? it seemed as though a lot of younger groups these days took their popularity and success for granted, not really understanding just how hard it was to make it. when he debuted, even if just six years ago, it was a lot harder to make it. with today and how much social media has progressed, it wasn’t as difficult for groups to get recognized, especially by international fans. he wished alien had been given that luxury, but he couldn’t change the past. all he could do was focus on the present and the future and make sure that alien’s careers would be long lasting, and if that meant jam packed schedules, then so be it. the busan festival would be a nice little breather for him. he hadn’t been assigned to any particular tasks, except for a performance with alien on the very first day, so he could spend the rest of the festival doing whatever he wanted without worrying about having his manager on his back the entire time. 

the exclamation that left the girl’s mouth had caught him off guard - not because she had said it so openly, but because she had said it out of the blue. he hadn’t been expecting it, seeing as how they hadn’t even been talking before she blurted it out. “me? oh, just about a minute ago. was i not supposed to be here? sorry, i just thought that you went around blurting out comments about people’s asses and various body parts to everyone that was in your immediate vicinity.” he raised an eyebrow. kwankyung was anything but awkward, that was for sure. “it looks like it was more awkward for you than it was for me. frankly, if i see something i like, i’m not afraid to say it. you’re the one who’s embarrassed about it.”

             ˗ˏˋ  ❤︎  ━━━ ⋅ the instant that her dilated pupils returned to their usual circumference, & she beheld the sight of the infamous oh kwankyung, thalia released a exasperated sigh  ;  a full pout pursing together to convey nothing but slight annoyance on her stunning countenance. while the two of them were quite familiar with one another, she still could never get a solid read on who the main dancer of dimensions’ entertainment’s infamous male collective ALIEN was, & while she had always wanted to forge a bond of friendship with him, there was a wall built up high that she couldn’t necessarily see over. whether he did that consciously or unknowingly was to be determined, but until then, the ‘98 liner was almost adamant on adding him to her gallery of comrades & cohorts. after all, he seemed likable enough, & like a great source of sweet, light - hearted fun, so in her mind, the pair of them would get along quite well. ❝ well, forgive me for coming at you so harshly, oppa. i was expecting to see a rather petite girl at my side, not a tall, handsome man. ❞ she couldn’t help but utilize her coquettish wiles, & hopefully, he wouldn’t take too much offense to that  ;  her scorpion - like disposition often guiding her to dip her toes into the vermillion pools of FLIRTATION & LUST. it was second - nature to her at this point.

            ❝ why are you always so stern, hmm ?? you’ve probably made tons of comments about your appreciation for other people’s bodies to your friends, so don’t shade me when i do it. you men aren’t the only people that talk a little D I R T Y sometimes. ❞ she added, clutching her frozen delicacy in one hand, she used her free one to nudge at kwankyung’s bicep playfully. ❝ you’ve gotta admit, though, that those shorts really did do somethin’ for him... ❞ she added, peering over to catch one more glimpse before returning her sights to the other performer. ❝ anyway !! how’ve you been, hmm ?? i feel like we haven’t gotten a chance to talk properly since we wrapped promotional material for school 2017. you still out there causing trouble ?? ❞

            ˗ˏˋ  ❤︎  ━━━ ⋅ breaking free from the almost suffocatingly similar surroundings of the city of seoul always felt like a holiday to thalia  ;  the young girl’s overwhelming sense of wild wanderlust getting the best of her when she was cooped up for weeks on end. WISH often kept busy with ever - changing promotional periods across asia, & sometimes, even in the west, so it was somewhat irregular for them to remain in korea for an extended duration of time, & while busan was nothing extremely foreign or all that thrilling, it was still a welcome switch to the brunette’s pupils  ;  the event taking place adding excitement to her week - long stay in the southern peninsula’s second largest metropolis. being that she & her group - mates were the closing act to the first night of performances, she now had ample amounts of free - time to kill catching up with cohorts she didn’t have the privilege of seeing often, flirting with cute boys, & getting a much - needed break from fan - meets & concerts. while she adored meeting the occupants of her fanbase, it often left her socially & physically drained, so being able to soak in some delicious sunshine & fraternize with other artists in the industry seemed appropriate for unwinding. so, that’s exactly what she planned to do  ;  her sandal - covered feet pressed against the solid ground as she scoped out the venue around her, small hands clutching the cup of recently purchased bingsu. distracted by the frozen treat, she didn’t even notice her comrade leave to say hello to someone else, & when a beautiful man crossed her way, she grabbed onto the arm of an unknown individual, doing her darnedest to get their attention fully.

            ❝ look at the ASS & ARMS on him ! ❞ she exclaimed, gazing upon the apple of her eye intently, becoming almost lost in the god - like physique that he, clearly, put hours of effort into shaping into perfection. ❝ ugh, summertime always brings out the most gorgeous people, don’t you think ?? ❞ she queried, turning to find that she, obnoxiously, pointed out the shape of another person’s derrière to someone she wasn’t expecting to  ;  mortified at the mistake. ❝ oh my god !! when the hell did you get there ?? i’m so sorry if that was so awkward for you, oh my god... ❞ shaking her head back & forth, she chuckled sweetly at the mix - up  ;  blushing. ˎˊ˗

    without it needing to be said, iseul knew he was loyal to a fault. a trait about himself that he loved but also at times could hate. when they were younger, the lines he drew for others were very clear. often refusing to put himself in situations that could lead to something worse. maybe it’s how he’s been feeling lately, but the young dancer could hardly care at the moment. if whatever he and thalia happened to do was a problem for yejun, then he would settle it at another time. he was a young adult male, and would be lying if he didn’t admit to noticing just how beautiful thalia was. her personality somehow managed to always pull him out of a slump, forcing him to forget about all of the bad things and focus on her for a few hours. the fact that they were dancing together also played a big factor in his attraction growing for her. the closeness they shared with each move, every touch leaving more for him to think about. 

   he couldn’t help but smile at her excitement, spending the night away from the dorm would do them both good. though he hardly cared about another scandal happening, it wasn’t like he would just go out seeking for one to take place. iseul always operated under the rule that anyone could be watching, resulting in his need to be careful a lot of the time. though he knew that if his name was involved in a scandal, it would be the surprise of the century. his pure heart and big smile often winning over the hearts of young women around south korea. “is that right? well i’ll try to always be honest then. i just don’t see the point in lying i suppose, which could land me in hot water depending on the person. but if you ask if you look bad and then i think you do, why would i lie?” his lack of filter at times could be seen as entertainment with his members, but unless someone truly knew iseul he could see how they could take it wrong. 

at the mention of his attractiveness and lack of relationship, he allowed himself to laugh softly. “i don’t know either, i think i’m pretty cute when i wanna be. not to sound cliche, but it’s hard to date when you don’t know when your next day off will be or if you’ll even be in the same country. but then again, maybe that’s exactly why some relationships work so well. you know the whole distance makes the heart grow fonder crap, my career is far more important.” it wasn’t a complete lie, but since his last relationship ended he had been more focused on the group and his own music. plus getting your heart broken doesn’t really result in seeking another relationship just for the same thing to happen again. “i’m always hungry, my sweet thalia. the other members often remind me to eat, something about a protein bar not being enough. i spent a lot of time at the studio, enjoying a proper meal is the least of my worries.” the cold seoul air was welcomed against his warm skin, his arm wrapping around thalia’s waist to pull her closer. “i’m positive they have peach soju, and if not then we’ll just have to find a place that does.” 

        the brisk breeze that whirled about in the evening air of gangnam nipped away at the petite dame’s pale complexion, staining it with cool hues of VERMILLION & ROSE. however, despite the drop in her body’s temperature, she was immediately warmed by the closeness with which iseul gave to her ; his strong arm coiling around her hourglass curves to provide protection, & the heat of his effortlessly golden, sunshine — drenched disposition bringing the blazing fire of summer to swathe her. it was difficult not to fall deeper into him as their bodies were reunited once more, their ceased movements in the form of dance now evolving into something almost more intimate than before. while the calculated touches of his hands upon the softness of her figure were welcome in the creation of art, they were even more — so in terms of personal affairs. while trying to keep her hopes from elevating too high, the brunette couldn’t help but fantasize about what it would be like to be underneath the danseur in an almost provocative fashion ; to let her truest desires for him be known in a fit of libidinous flame & overwhelming lust. it was as if MARS & VENUS were coming together to create reveries built upon notions that leaned more carnal, that were ridden with wanton ambition. would aphrodite & ares be gracious, & generous, enough to bestow bounties of pulchritude & copulation to her on this night, or would she have to continue treading the waters of what — ifs & maybes ?? they still had multiple hours ahead of them to seize the moment, & she could only hold out hope that he would make that FIRST MOVE ; that he would fall prey to the magnitude her feminine wiles.

        ONE HOUR LATER.  /  seated parallel to him in the dimly lit eatery he had taken her to, thalia dared to move a foot closer to his own ; playfully gliding up his ankle to embrace him even with their small distance separating them. empty, variegated bottles of soju & other alcoholic beverages decorated the table that the pair of them occupied, & plates with only crumbs left of their light meal were abound ; their cheeks TICKLED PINK with subtle intoxication, but neither of them were too far gone to be lucid, & with that said, her dilated pupils settled upon the masculine contour of his visage, drinking in his virile beauty. ❝ i hope you know that i mean every single word whenever i compliment you, oppa. ❞ she lilted, her elbows present on the flat surface in front of her as she leaned into him ; the tone of her voice silken, & saturated in milk & honey. ❝ i’m really glad that you asked me out tonight, too. it’s almost as if you read my mind, too. going back to my dorm didn’t sound as appealing as being close to you... gosh, i hope i’m not sound entirely too cheesy right now, or i hope that i’m not talking too much, but i almost can’t help myself. you bring it out on me, i suppose. ❞ with that said, she raised one half of her arm & rested her chin in the palm of her hand, a simper falling from betwixt a cherry pout. ❝ are you having a good time, too ?? i wouldn’t want you to be bored of being around me, but if you are, then i suppose we can call it a night, but just so you know, i’d be happy for EVEN MORE time spent with you, if you’re up for it, too. ❞

with as much work the label had been putting on knight’s shoulders, it wasn’t surprising that he was called into another meeting by his manager and some of the execs at bc. with both knight and white knight’s promotional periods running together, joonsoo had to put his own plans for his personal work on hold so he could focus on the group first and foremost, something he always did. going solo would always take the backseat to his group. he wouldn’t be where he was without them, so he wasn’t going to abandon them just so he could do his own thing. that would feel like the worst kind of betrayal. but he was working on things little bit by little bit, writing when he had the free time, going down to the recording studio to lay down some vocals here and there. his body of work was coming together slowly but surely, and he was excited about it. 

the meeting that had been called was for his manager to tell him that he needed to feature other bc artists on one or two of his songs, just to show how tight knit all of the idols were under the label. they had even already picked out one for him to work with - thalia. he was a fan of wish, so of course he knew who she was, and he enjoyed her voice. he couldn’t help but notice that even though she was apart of the vocal line, he didn’t really hear her voice as much as the other girls. he couldn’t help but mention that as they exited the meeting, his eyebrows furrowed as he spoke. “i’m glad that they’re giving you the opportunity to feature on something apart from wish’s songs. you have a really nice voice, and the producers and songwriters here don’t show that off enough.”

        it was no secret that bc entertainment’s more recent male — led & female — driven collectives had schedules that were filled to the brim with events, promotions, & various solo obligations, & being that a drama she had taken part in had finished airing only a few months ago, thalia was curious as to what she was called into the executive offices for now. were there more scripts for her to review, or was it something entirely different ?? for years now, she had her sights set on releasing a solo album of her own, so maybe they would propose one for her this afternoon ?? with excitement bubbling in her abdomen, she dolled up as beautifully as she could manage without looking overdone, & made her way to her home away from home ; to the offices & rehearsal spaces that she spent hours upon hours of her time in before being selected as one of the first members of WISH. once she arrived & was called into one of the meeting rooms, she gracefully sauntered her way through the doorway, & when she was met with none other than the first main vocalist of KNIGHT, she allowed an almost awestruck grin to tug at the corners of her cerise pout. she knew of him quite well, & they had very brief encounters in the past, but this had been the first time that they had been tasked to work together on a project that was sure to not only gain both of them exposure, but was going to be fun, as well.

        so, now that the two of them were headed out, she walked close beside joonsoo & linked her arm with his ; hoping the physicality would be okay with him, but if it wasn’t, she would one — hundred percent understand. ❝ aw, you’re so sweet, soo — oppa ! that seriously means a lot coming from you... arguably my favorite male vocalist of all — time. ❞ she responded, her tone genuine & soft. it was true —— the members of KNIGHT were known for their expertise in vocal performance, & she had always appreciated them for that. ❝ it’s honestly such an honor to be able to work with you, & this makes all those times where i was kind of shafted on lines worth it. truth be told, i know my voice is more distinct than the others’ in my group, & a lot of the time, the producers always tell me that i’m like a SECRET WEAPON for the songs, but i’m kind of tired of that, you know ?? just because my voice isn’t super high — pitched & girly doesn’t mean that i’m not a good singer, you know ?? ❞ shaking her head back & forth, thalia grinned & didn’t want to get too lost on her own tangent, so she reverted back to the earlier subject matter. ❝ so ! being that you have creative control over this since it’s your album, what sort of song are you envisioning for us to do, hmm ?? a ballad, or something uptempo ?? ❞

his reputation within members of their industry wasn’t a mystery to joohwan. he wasn’t a particularly nice person, and behind the cameras, there was no actual reason for him to pretend to be so. rare were the people who hadn’t been the victim of at least one of his harsher comments and the majority of them didn’t know how to handle such a thing well. there were a select few who did, who had as much of a rotten soul as joohwan’s, and there was a non-spoken mutual agreement to not cross each other’s ways so not to cause unnecessary clashes. as much as rumors about his personality arose, no one would dare actually talking about it to the press or to anyone who might leak it to the media – after all, hwan was still a member of a group whose popularity was only rising, quite possibly dimensions’ most famous group currently, and no one was interested in the consequences of messing with their image beyond a repair point. he hadn’t been surprised upon noticing thalia’s hesitation. if they had at least one mutual acquaintance he was sure they’d have alerted the girl to stay away from him. not that the warning had done much for they had still crashed and burned, and taken the drama they were filming together with them but – it was much to late to lament the fate of their past project, and wasn’t for this stupid photoshoot, neither of them would’ve given it a second thought most likely.

in retrospect, joohwan really should’ve known there was no other possible outcome to them being together in the same room that wasn’t a negative one. “ i’m telling you to stop making me look shorter, ” with a roll of his eyes, his gaze fell to his hands, examining the poorly done manicure he had gotten with a frown. one thing joohwan detested about idol life, particularly being part of unity, was that he was expected to always sell a stereotypical masculine image that was completely different from how he even saw himself. during his daily life and away from cameras there was no pressure to do so – but in photoshoots and the like, he was expected, amongst other things, to keep his nails free from any color and his piercings out of his body. it was pointless in joohwan’s opinion, for every single one of their hands already knew how he actually liked to dress and look, not to mention the fact that the company had gone and dyed his hair pink. “ what other things worthy of your time could you be doing? sleeping? it’s not like we have much of a social life anyway. you and i both know if you weren’t here you’d be getting an early night in. ” the boy sauntered towards her side, leaning against the counter with her back to the mirror. “ the bags under your eyes are massive. has no one ever taught you how to look less like you get three hours of sleep at night? ”

        starring in ANDANTE had been a gift, of sorts, to the brunette —— her critically acclaimed performances in SCHOOL 2017, as well as DEATH NOTE: THE MUSICAL, having created buzz around WISH’s lead vocalist & rapper due to unveiling yet another talent of her’s, & due to the positive attention, she was given a myriad of scripts to read with roles that directors, & casting executives, envisioned her for. it was almost as if each text was handed to her on silver platters, & she had the opportunity to select which direction her career would go in next. while these works for the small screen weren’t necessarily the solo album she’d hoped for since début, she was still happy to know that bc entertainment thought her talents far exceeded the confines that the group she was selected for constructed, & hopefully after her popularity continued to rise, she would finally be given yet another chance to prove that she can handle a full — fledged ep on her own. until then, though, she needed to remain a positive, benevolent figure in the media, & though she often longed to strip herself of the innocent, cutesy image that she was decorated in on a daily basis, she knew that abiding by the rules set for her would better her chances of getting rewards in the future. so, as much as she wanted to publicly defame her costar, she knew that it was best for her to remain tight — lipped on how pisspoor his disposition was, & how the FAKE MAKNAE façade that dimensions was spoon — feeding to UNITY’s fanbase was all merely a ruse to convince them that their main dancer was as adorable as he appeared.

        because of that, thalia wished she had selected to take part in a different project, & her only reason for selecting to appear in ANDANTE was due to the role of kim bom. she differed from amane misa & ra eunho, & the chanteuse felt it would be best to show a wide range of talent as opposed to sticking with something similar. however, had she known then that she would be paired with joohwan on — screen, she would’ve thought twice about what dotted line she was signing her signature on. rolling her eyes at his comments, she continued to gaze into looking glass before her to ensure that her dress clung to her curves well, & that there were no wrinkles besmirching her SOFTLY GLAMOROUS appearance. ❝ i don’t understand how it’s my fault that you’re so short, joohwan. stand up taller if you’re so concerned. you’re a dancer, right ?? aren’t you supposed to have great posture ?? ❞ she quipped, the sound of his voice enough to cause the hair on the back of her neck to stand tall. ❝ you may not have much of a social life because no one really wants to have you around, but i, on the other hand, actually do make plans with people quite often. sorry that you have no idea what that’s like, but... i guess not everyone can be well — liked. ❞ she added, genuinely not able to think of even a handful of people that would actually enjoy to spend their spare time with hwan. when he came to settle on her side of the partition, she glared at him. ❝ eh, it’s nothin’ that a little photoshop can’t fix. it’s more of an insult to the makeup artists here than it is to me, though. you really can’t be kind for a single second, can you ?? you’re lucky that you’re, at least, SORT OF HANDSOME because your personality is the absolute fuckin’ worst. it’s no wonder you’re still a virgin, ha. ❞
