lately, sammy found himself wandering around the dorms more than he would’ve liked to. it’s not that he didn’t enjoy living with his members, but with his solo comeback swiftly approaching, sammy found it better to be in complete solitude. he’s a workaholic and really commits to his work, so he’s very blatant about his need to focus completely.
but maybe the real truth is that he doesn’t want his members commenting on his techniques. his habit of staying up all hours of the night dancing and harmonizing, his habit of pushing himself to the brink of exhaustion. he’s already been scolded by them one too many times. he doesn’t want a repeat of this lecture.
it’s late in the night, and he expected the dorm to be completely empty. or, if there were a few members around, they’d likely be sleeping at this hour. he came by for a shower yet again, since the dorm was closer to the studio. he was hoping he wouldn’t be running into anyone at this time, but he found himself face to face with the very last person he wanted to see.
his features displayed a hard grimace as he muttered the name, “seongjae.”
he awkwardly swings the keychain from his left hand to his right, while his feet tap the hardwood floor.

hello hello ! with sammy’s solo comeback approaching i thought it would be appropriate to bring some more plotting opportunities to the table, so if anyone has any producer or choreographer muses ( or are bringing one ) feel free to message me and we can discuss incorporating them into sammy’s new album !
sammy can’t always get along with everyone, despite his constant efforts to. in all honesty, sammy isn’t fond of ill-defined relationships, either. he’d rather know exactly where he stands with someone, whether they liked him or not. unfortunately, that was exactly the type of relationship he had with haewon. he knew the younger male had a certain distaste for him, but sometimes he was a tough guy to read.
those were sammy’s exact thoughts as he stood face to face with the decypher maknae, backstage to an awards show. performances were about to go under way when sammy made himself known.
“oh haewon, hello!”
his voice was a little too chipper, but he was never one for tension and he wanted to start things off on the right foot. sammy is a textbook people pleaser, much to his own dismay.
moonil and sammy had an odd relationship. they despised each other. everything about the young actor seemed to irk sammy — his walk, his talk, his attitude. the fact that the arrogant child had the whole nation in a trance was near the top of the list, as well. however, the two somehow always find themselves together. maybe it’s because sammy saw the brat as the annoying little brother he never had. regardless, sammy found himself seeking the younger boy’s assistance. he had requested his presence at his house in gangnam, very much reluctantly. sammy was a senior and typically, idols at his point in their career had already broken out into acting. sammy, however, hadn’t. and he was in desperate need of some pointers, which was why he found himself pacing by the front door, awaiting moonil’s arrival.

he was born april 28th, 1993 in busan as oh sunwoo !
his father was never really present in his life so it was just him and his mother for a long time
his mother was an international ballerina and was really well known for her talents, and naturally sammy followed in her footsteps bc he was always surrounded by the ballet life
he travelled with his mother all over the world for competitions and such so he’s been to a lot of different countries, but they’ve never stayed for more than a couple months
when sammy was five he and his mother settled in phoenix, arizona in the states after she decided it was time she settled down, plus she found a new lover there
she was planning to open up her own ballet company and wanted to expand to other countries as well
sammy was scouted at a korean music festival when he was twelve where he and his mother were attending, he was freestyling showing some of his moves and got a card from an hjh representative
his mother was proud of him and agreed to move them back to korea so he could train, but as a trainee he naturally focused on other types of dances besides ballet which his mother was not fond of
she wanted him to be entirely focused on becoming a danseur, but sammy was just naturally drawn to contemporary and hip-hop dancing just like he was to ballet
when he debuted three years later, his mother was not happy and was actually pregnant with another child, so she kind of pushed sammy away bc he wasn’t going down the route she wanted him to ?
fast forward to now and sammy hasn’t spoken to his mother in about two years ! he feels kind of replaced and knows his mother is probably focusing on his younger half-brother and his journey as a danseur
ANYWAYS jsnsjd that got long ! here’s some facts about his personality !
he’s an incredibly hard worker and can kind of push himself too hard ? he’s just always trying to be the best and making sure everything is perfect ! esp bc he’s the main dancer and a solo artist as well so he feels a little pressured
he’s gay and loves loves loves boys !!! wants to be in a relationship and is a hopeless romantic but knows literally nothing about love he’s very inexperienced
speaking of inexperienced,, he’s been in the industry for nearly half his life so he kind of lacks life experience ? he had to give up his childhood to train and never really experienced the real world as a normal person and he regrets that sometimes
he’s incredibly charming which can kinda come off as flirtatious sometimes ? he’s very witty and good with words
pretty calm and collected and very easy to get along with for the most part !
he’s pretty sensitive though ! can be quick to cry and get angry if he’s in a tense situation
can get uncomfortable really easily, he cleans his house about every day and is always organizing his dorm when he’s there and just needs to be comfortable 24/7
he’s independent and self reliant, treasures his peace and quiet and loves staying home
on stage he’s seen as the angel and baby of the group, very youthful and energetic
off stage he’s more mature and reclusive ? not a complete attitude change but prefers to keep to himself
to the fans he’s kind of an enigma ! he doesn’t do much outside of promotions and is rarely ever seen ! doesn’t even have any social media he loves staying off the grid
very popular both in the group and as a soloist but a lot of fans think he’s trying to break off from the group and do more things as a soloist ? like he thinks he’s too good for them but it’s not that way at all ! he loves being in halcyon ! but he also loves being a soloist can’t he have the best of both worlds jsndfs
