@foolsbargain
Anyway that's the trip and here's a fish
I think we were home the next day???? Our flight had a massive layover because the airline we used for tickets went bankrupt in between the time of us getting them and actually going on the trip so we ended up with this odd layover somewhere and I think the Baltics by Sweden?
Anyway we ended up staying in a cute yellow b&b with an ancient fertility rock outside heheh place honestly really reminded me of Wisconsin Camille has more pics and also remembers where the hell we were
Got to say though the flight back was wonderful we are economy Plus auto upgraded and it was really nice
Flying is usually so painful for me have to say it's a lot easier in those conditions hehehe
Guinness is not good in the US but it's delicious in Ireland The Guinness museum is a real trip we ended up wandering into rooms I don't think we were supposed to be in if you go on the expensive drinking tour I think you go through some kind of Willy Wonka shit man it was odd in there me and my lady had a wonderful time hehheeh
On the 27th we were back in Dublin we ended up hanging out with our friends that we made back in Dingle Tina and Ró
These two are a ton of fun and we just really chatted each other's ears off they showed us some really cool museums around the area and neat little coffee shops.
At one point Camille accidentally talked to a crazy man because she's a noodle and he ended up holding a phone in her face in the classic way people do to demand that you take it so they can drop it on the floor she was good and didn't take it but he was getting more and more aggressive and he also was wielding a stick BUT neither of us understood that this was his weapon and he was trying to threaten us I'm more used to conventional weapons so I just thought the stick was part of his ploy and I was confused on why he was trying to sell it to us š„²
Ró ended up having to protect us he outright put his hand on the guy's chest and pushed him back and told him he needed to go he ended up helping us onto a bus real fast cuz he had a bus card so we could get the fuck out kzgjsgkgzfsksig he really did this a solid saving our stupid asses I'm really grateful legitimately thought he was selling me the stick hjdndjsjdd
Somehow we did end up making it to the brewery we were going to lmao
This fool's lucky she goes out and makes friends eehehhe
While we were up there I noticed a small monastery from on top of the hill turns out stuff like this is just littered all over the place
The little monastery was used as a place to kill time and walk dogs honestly people say there's nothing to do around there I don't think they understand that most places in the US are just paved roads heheh
It's really impossibly beautiful there and it's just part of their lives that integration is so lovely
The skies are just that blue and the grass is just that green and ancient history is a dog park would an odd and wonderful place it is
I think I'd much rather kill time there then in a parking lot
Well you win some you lose some and sometimes you stop updating the blog a quarter of the trip in
Back on the Sunday of March 26th we visited the rock of coachel Rock of cashel which was an honestly fascinating place I can't believe it I missed it my first time around it's a very well kept secret and a wonderful castle that has generations upon generations built on it! I think the most comical bit is the sandstone that they're trying to prevent from melting It's really a poor choice to import to a place where it never stops raining lol
Few days late making this post but the Dingle Animation Festival was amazing!!!! So many fantastic students and incredibly helpful professionals. Learned a lot about the Irish animation industry, chatted with industry folks and students alike. And Rese even met a teacher from the school she wants to attend- she even set up a time for us to meet her on Monday!!!! Such a successful time it felt like a dream lol- I got really anxious because I thought something must be wrong and I didn't notice it š Guess my biggest mess up was not taking enough pictures!!
The town itself was super cute and we got some tasty grub there. Never in my life have a had such a good work trip lol. We were so exhausted I forgot to make a post about it until now!!! >:3ccc
After an 8 hour flight to Stockholm, a 3 hour flight to Dublin, and then a 4 hour drive to dingle, Rese and I have finally checked into our b&b and we can be horizontal now š©š before we called it for the night tho we went to a local pub recommended by the owner and got leek soup, fish pie, and sticky toffee pudding, washed down with a round of Guinness. It's true what they say about Guinness being better here btw. I am very tired and full of carbs so it's time to pass out now ā¤ļø
We made it!!!!
(this airport is like literally the size of the Santa Ana airport Ireland is such a small country lmaoooo)
In Stockholm for a layover!
Choosing violence isn't a good past time `~` sometimes your actions have consequences
Violent begets violence ;-;
Met a guy named Chris! He works in excavation has traveled around a lot we discussed moss and things and kept him entertained with our terrible personalities he seemed enthused honestly :3
Did you know Estonia has a lots of different kinds of moss? Also you can order them as wall art!
Off and rearing to go we have a connection in Stockholm but it's only for a short while Hope that place can handle us :3 !!!!
TSA took literally 30 minutes we got here 4 hours early
At the airport!!!! T-minus 4 hours to our flight!!!
IF YOU WANT A POSTCARD SEND ME YOUR ADDRESS!!!! Can't promise they'll get there but I think the roulette is fun :3
Anyway we're off to Ireland tomorrow and life will get interesting see y'all then
Also I'm not fixing any mess spelling mistakes on here you can ask for clarification but it may not help ;3
A diorama I built with Camille for our third anniversary!
Figured I'd use this as the test post I'll be on my way to Ireland soon so I want to make sure everything works on desktop as well as mobile. I'll be using this blog intermittently for extremely classical blog uses, to capture my wretched thoughts and the pretty pictures I take. I found that the last blog I kept on Instagram was a really good idea in hindsight and I wish I kept up with it more, Tumblr is the better platform so I'll be using it feel free to ignore this blog or participate and have a nice time :3 I find that an archive of my life makes it more real. šāØ
I hope it's obvious that this blog will be extremely and unabashedly Rese hehehhe.
