Tempos verbais em inglês

Nos próximos posts eu vou explicar e apresentar cada um dos tempos verbais existentes na Língua Inglesa. Porém, por enquanto, trouxe para vocês todos os tempos verbais juntos para que a gente faça um comparativo entre cada um deles

PRESENTE

Verbo utilizado: live (viver)

Simple Present (Presente Simples) - remete à uma ação que ocorre no presente, a um fato, um hábito

I live in this house. (Eu vivo nessa casa)

She lives in this house. (Ela vive nessa casa)

They live in this house.  (Eles vivem nessa casa)

Present Continuous (Presente Contínuo) - remete uma ação que acontece agora ou acontecerá em um futuro breve

I am living in this house. (Eu estou vivendo nessa casa)

He is living in this house. (Ele está vivendo nessa casa)

You are living in this house. (Vocês estão vivendo nessa casa)

Present Perfect (Presente Perfeito) - remete à uma ação que começou no passado e ainda ocorre ou ainda se verifica como relevante

I have lived in this house my whole life. (Eu vivi/vivo nessa casa a minha a vida toda)

She has lived in this house for a long time. (Ela viveu nessa casa por um longo tempo)

You have lived in this house for a long time. (Vocês viveram nessa casa por um longo tempo)

PASSADO

Verbo utilizado: go

Simple Past (Passado Simples) - uma ação que ocorreu e terminou no passado.

I went to my boyfriend's house yesterday. (Fui à casa do meu namorado ontem)

He went to his boyfriend's house yesterday. (Ele foi à casa do namorado dele ontem)

They went to my house yesterday. (Eles foram à minha casa ontem)

Past Continuous (Passado Contínuo) - uma ação do passado que não foi finalizada, estava em processo

I was going to my house when I saw my friend in the street. (Eu estava indo para a minha casa quando eu vi o meu amigo na rua)

He was going to his house when he saw his friend in the street. (Ele estava indo para a casa dele quando ele viu o seu amigo na rua)

You were going to home when you saw your friends in the street. (Vocês estavam indo para a casa quando viram seus amigos na rua)

Past Perfect (Passado Perfeito) - uma ação que ocorreu no passado antes de uma outra ação ocorrer

I had gone home when you called me. (Eu tinha ido para casa quando você me ligou)

She had gone home when they called her. (Ela tinha ido para casa quando eles ligaram para ela)

They had gone home when you called them. (Eles tinham ido para casa quando vocês ligaram para eles)

FUTURO

Verbo utilizado: study

Simple Future com o "will" - algo que de fato acontecerá

I will study in this month. (Eu vou estudar neste mês)

She will study in this month. (Ela vai estudar neste mês)

They will study in this month. (Eles vão estudar neste mês)

Simple Future com o verbo to be + o "going to" - algo que foi planejado a acontecer ou quando se chega a uma conclusão sobre alguma coisa

I am going to study in this weekend. (Vou estudar nessa semana)

She is going to study in this weekend. (Ela vai estudar nessa semana)

They are going to study in this weekend. (Eles vão estudar nessa semana)

Simple Future com o verbo to be + "ing" - ação que ocorrerá no futuro e que está prestes a acontecer.

I am studying in a few minutes. (Vou estudar em alguns minutos)

She is studying in a few minutes. (Ela vai estudar em alguns minutos)

They are studying in a few minutes. (Eles vão estudar em alguns minutos)

Quá khứ đơn (Simple Past) được sử dụng để mô tả một công việc hay hành động đã diễn ra và kết thúc trong quá khứ.

Công thức thì quá khứ đơn

(+) Thể khẳng định:

Động từ tobe: S + was/were +...

Động từ thường: S + V-ed +...

(-) Thể phủ định:

Động từ tobe: S + was/were + not +...

Động từ thường: S + did + not +V +...

(?) Dạng câu hỏi:

Động từ tobe: Was/Were + S +...?

Những khoảng thời gian đã qua trong ngày (today, this morning, this afternoon).

It´s simple past´s turn! Oh my God!

El past simple es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza en inglés para hablar de acciones terminadas que ocurrieron en el pasado. Echa un vistazo a este ejemplo:

Andrew bought a new coat last week ➡️ Andrew compró un abrigo nuevo la semana pasada.

En esta frase utilizamos el past simple porque estamos hablando de algo que sucedió en el pasado; Andrew todavía tiene el abrigo del que hablamos, pero la acción de comprarlo es algo que ocurrió en el pasado, y que ha terminado. Por tanto, se trata de una acción finalizada, que ya no está en progreso.

Aquí tienes algunos ejemplos más de frases en past simple:

Luis passed his final exam last year ➡️ Luis aprobó el examen final el año pasado.

We ate burguers last night ➡️ Comimos hamburguesas anoche.

Celia finished school in 1998 ➡️ Celia acabó el colegio en 1998.
