I don't usually do this, but I've promised myself to take more credit for the work I do and post for people to enjoy for free.
I create animations, I write posts, I voice and edit audio, all for people to enjoy and for me to get to interact and meet new people. For the past few years people have been taking my full work and reposting it as their own while I ignored it happening. From now on I'll be calling these people out if they ignore my contact and request to credit me or delete my stolen content.
Now, to start my first callout post.
@saladin92 is a blog that is getting popular off of my posts (and others I suspect) such as my "You should message me" post, which is their current pinned post, including the original gifs I've animated. Basically a complete copy paste.
After contacting them they did not respond and soon after posted another copy paste of my post, except they switched my animations with another.
After that I contacted them again, and this was their response:
I write my own posts. I animate my own gifs. I voice and edit my own files. I create everything I post, from scratch. When someone steals that and gets traction from it, it's insulting.
Please don't reblog and support these people, our community deserves better, and frankly I deserve better too. I'll be a lot more proactive and transparent about people who steal my content from now on, and I hope you support me and disincentivize people from stealing other people's work.

To be fully clear: I enjoy and incentivize people to use my work in their own work. Using my spiral in a post you write, or a video you create, is something I am okay with. Adding your own touch and creating new content is good. I would like to be credited every once in a while though!
