The laundromat job didn't last as I got an offer to a better place 2 weeks ago lol. But now that I am back in the wage cage, I'm thinking of what to do with my life. I wanna be a flight attendant but the process is ass and since I got a rejection email from Air Canada Rouge, I cannot apply there again for 6 months. This is a lot of time waiting for nothing. Should I go back to school? Be one of those finance or banking adult who only works there for a paycheck? I can't even afford to go back to school actually. Gotta pay the debts first

So I got a small job in a laundromat. The pay won't be good, not even the hours either, but it's better than nothing and it'll make searching for an actual fulltime job less stressful.

Social media sucks and the problem I have with them

Huge bot problem in dm so they decided to replace their old dm system by a new one that doesn't work well and people are often locked out of their dms.

Bot problem, election and political manipulation everywhere (fake Albertan separatists is a very good recent example)

The media tab got replaced with the video tab so you can't scroll the pictures anymore on phone

The search bar only shows 2 results and same for post retweet

The NSFW stuff is hidden behind a warning even if your options says otherwise, and the moment someone is labeled to be nsfw, a lot of their content, even SFW, is now labeled as a warning

I hate when I get a rejection email and it says "you don't meet all the qualifications" and the only required qualifications is 2+ years of customer service. I have 7+ of experience and somewhat it's not enough like are we deadass? What freaking qualification I don't meet? A phd in bootlicking? A doctorate in kissing the hr's ass?? A master in begging for a minimum wage job???

Honestly, even if I do like my Samsung Flip 6, I still wouldn't recommend a flip phone. I have to change the protective screen because there's a huge part peeling off in the middle, the screen is also more fragile because it has to be flexible, and I don't quite use the front little screen. The top part also heats up pretty fast

Ontarian realtors are on another level compared to Quebec and British Columbia. I got a dude who was only responding with ''yeah'' and ''ok'' like, is a dialogue too much asked? And another dude, holy fucking hairballs, was cold during some exchange, even raised his tone at me because his thick accent was just too hard to understand at time. He was pressuring me a lot, even called me twice and texted me and sent me videos of rentals after I told him I already found a place. To top it all, he even had the audacity to send me photos of his realtor award. Sir... you were the fucking worst I've ever had so far. Kindly fuck off

Job and Rental

Shit has been rough recently. We just found a place after having been refused from everywhere else, and I am still in the lookout for a job. I did an interview that went well last week, but I will only get an answer in 2 weeks. Mostly every other place don't even reply, and the rare that do don't even bother giving an interview. The job market is disgusting and the employer are abusive and way too selective. Entry positions, even retail minimum wage, requires experience. Mostly every job requires experience. Our generation is cooked, and the next one is doomed

Canada and its limited train expansion due to CN and CPKC

Alto just announced that the high speed train will very unlikely reach the Gare du Palais in downtown Quebec city, and one of its reason is the CN train system that owns the railways. It is also likely the CN train system is the reason Ottawa and Toronto might face the same issue. Other important reasons are also at play. In Canada, the industrial train companies like CN and CPKC have priorities over Canada's already thin railway system, and often have precedents over transit system and even VIARAIL. This often impedes large scale development of our transit systems

In Toronto, the expansion and frequencies of its GO train is impeded by the priority that CN holds over rails existing in the GTA. In Vancouver, the West Coast Express only operates toward downtown during the morning and to the suburbs during afternoon rush hour because the CPKC owns the rails.

VIARAIL trains often have to wait aside for a CN trains to pass for the same reason. CN also imposed a speed restriction on their recent trains for security reason. If we want better transit system in Canada, the lack of available rails owned by VIARAIL and transit system needs to be addressed.
