My personal hibiki headcanon is that he leans more on the Guy spectrum of being transmasc nonbinary and i feel like so many people are quick to parade hibiki as nonbinary lesbian rep but then use exclusively she/her and never actually explore how his transness affects him other than like. girlboss lesbian #letsgoqueers. whatever. i stand on my trans island of truth alone if i must. if i see anyone refer to her as a "femboy" or use anything other than she/her you are blocked on sight, and i have now added that up front and center before the readmore cut cuz i keep finding endless transphobic pripara tumblr users I DONT KNOW HOWWWW. the bar is on the floor. dont misgender a girl who is clearly trans. and yet no one can clear it. I don't know how there's like 7 pripara fans on tumblr and half of them are transphobic, but what else did i expect from the transmisogyny site. In fact, if i see anyone genuinely refer to characters as "femboy" (especially in a sexual context considering that's when that word is most often used to misgender trans women) instead of having actual transfem headcanons or engaging with heavily implied transfem characters without misgendering them or calling them a "boygirlthing" and then rarely (if ever) using she/her, i do not like you and will block you regardless of if it's directed to leona or not
so many people love to say they're trans friendly but flake when it comes to trans girls and in general try to align trans characters with their agab as much as humanly possible (thing i see with hibiki a LOT) and it pisses me off. grow a spine. actually TRY to be a real ally to trans people and especially trans women.

i said i dont envy 2winkPs who were experiencing the dawn of setsubun but i lied. i went to check the date for christmas live and that was released a year before toyland. can you imagine that. experiencing christmas live and then one year later before you can even celebrate its anniversary, you're hit with the very ominous ending of toyland, knowing it comes right before christmas live. and then you have to take your finals/midterms with that on your mind and then all winter break, you're drawing 2wink in their reindeer outfits and lamenting with your friends about The State Of 2wink. and then right as you're returning to classes and getting back in the groove of things you have to experience setsubun. that actually sounds like heaven. i think literally any current day enstars fan would kill to have that many story beats happen in such close succession. i know i would.

how do you even get into touhou? I have wanted to forever but isn't there like 15 years worth of content across so much different media... I don't knkw where to begin
i mean i'm also still figuring it out and barely know anything about touhou in the grand scheme of things so idk if there's some sort of optimal way to experience touhou, but I'm genuinely just poking my nose into the places that interest me and just seeing where they lead me
i started by playing imperishable night purely because i stumbled across the "mushi miko unyaa" fansong and thought wriggle was cute and that's it. i didnt have any master plan or anything, i just wanted a bug girl on my screen. rn i'm slowly playing through the games cuz i'm finding them really fun even if i'm monumentally bad at them, and then simply poking my nose into more info and comics and fansongs and fanart and whatnot about the characters who i find charming. like i'm being so haphazard and lax about it i'm just floating with the wind and it's fun cuz wherever the wind takes me, there will be fun stuff to uncover
and to really drive the point home that you can just poke your nose in literally wherever you want: my brother owns 6 touhou fangames and has asked me to draw his fav touhou charas for him before, so when i started getting into touhou i asked him if he has a fav touhou game to recommend and he then told me that he never actually played the original touhou games cuz theyre too hard for him LOL
