i just read a kasa7 translation on yt cause i was interested about what it was about it made me realize a few things about yuuta's view on hinata 😳 (I'm sorry i can't stop thinking about 2wink even when watching something that is completely unrelated to them) so um yeah i realized that yuuta does in fact value hinata to a high extent , but it's just hard to see on a surface level because his hatred for him is much more prominent since yuuta has such a negative view on humanity. the one major thing kasa7 made me realize about yuuta is why he hates hinata so much , which is because of hinata's ignorance towards his love. i think this is also explored in toyland where yuuta thinks about how scared he is of hinata drifting away from him and how mad(?) he is about hinata's ignorance towards his value for him. this is elaborated on even more in whirlpool where yuuta tells hinata how disappointed he was to see hinata ignore all of his accomplishments in the idol industry and in his head goes on about how hinata's change in energy made him feel unsteady. in kasa7 , tsukasa thinks of something similar like "i love you so much but you just forgot about me" and i figured that perfectly encapsulates how yuuta feels about hinata , including that memory tsukasa had when kidkasa shouted , "i don't matter to saki..!" to himself and everything
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh okay i just wanted to share this
SPLASHING WHIRLPOOL - Hinata SPP
IM SO FUCKING SCARED i saw a comment under the mm pv video and it said THE STAGES ARE IN THE BG AND IT'S FUCKING TRUE!?!????????????
oh my god. if that's supposed to be a sun on the floor im actually gonna explode. especially after whirlpool.
edit: im fuckig dumb i miscounted th e pointythingsoh my god it's actually 8 thingies not 7. And also the floor is just like. a normal floor. Imso stupidwtf
im pretty sure yuuta believes hinata is an inherently positive and warm person but in reality it was really hinata masking his true self and when yuuta sensed the "change" in hinata's attitude he started to feel unsteady because he's so used to always being led by that masked version of hinata (a case of enmeshment) plus hinata has always built walls between himself and everyone he's ever gotten close with, including yuuta, which means he's never been 100% emotionally open with yuuta, feeding even more into yuuta's already unrealistic idealization of him
don't trust me
what if the reason why yuuta is taking over the identity of hinata is because he knows that he has the recognition he wants but still feels insecure and thinks hinata's "failure" as an idol is correlated to that 😳 so he's taking it into his own hands to become a better "hinata" to feel the same confidence he did with him in the past walking beside him 😳 and that's why yuuta sees hinata's personal growth as a failure 😳 plus because hinata always says he'd sacrifice his existence for yuuta no matter what yuuta figures it's a perfect opportunity to hurt hinata back like he's done to him for the longest time since he's finally been able to establish his own identity in the idol industry 😳
2wink from Enstars isn't the first thing to teach me this firsthand, and won't be the last, but it HAS once again shown me that if you heckle and joke about something enough, repeat exposure still runs a good chance of you accidentally conditioning yourself to like it. like. noooo you were supposed to be the unit i tease and jokingly write off as just twincest bait, why are you now one of my favorites, why do i genuinely love your dynamic now, nOOOO this is SO embarrassing now I look like a FOOL...
honestly im still thoroughly confused on why yuuta is trying to be "hinata" for hinata in the first place. like i know that it's because of the idealization, revenge, but i still don't understand why now 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 i mean i think this was slightly foreshadowed in yuuta's bmu scout story when yuuta decided to try the sweet snack hinata bought butSTILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL HUH??????????????????? is it like. yuuta trying to bring hinata to a "warm" place similar to what he said in timbers of heaven...? or like what he said about flipping hinata's morals around so they both could start fighting for the same cause... ????? idk ive seen multiple takes on this like one of them being yuuta wasn't getting the public attention he wanted so he resorted to using hinata to his advantage? im not exactly sure about this take because in the epilogue of whirlpool yuuta explicitly states that he's not going to lose his identity as "yuuta aoi" and has already made a lot of progress which hinata has blatantly ignored and i feel like this take is feeding into that mindset hinata has for yuuta that yuuta himself pointed out of him. another take that i can agree with to some degree with though is the take that yuuta has lost sight of what he truly wanted to accomplish. cause like i said earlier there's that one line yuuta says in timbres of heaven but then again that one line from 2x2....... so I'm not 100% on it. (i just realized how vaguely i worded this one take idk how to word it better.)
my take is that yuuta is doing it to get back at hinata for being so selfish and to push his ideal image of hinata so he can move on side by side "with him" in a way that gives himself a sense of control and comfort while also using it to exploit hinata's potential in the idol industry to put it simply like i said in another post but im deadass unsure. it's basically what yuuta tells hinata/is implied in the story after all but i can't be too sure . um yeah ok im done
