I think that Cas and Dean are two of the loneliest characters on Supernatural. Without Dean Castiel has no one to turn to, other than Sam, but it's more than likely that Sam won't help Cas if Dean's in a mood with him. Everyone Dean was ever close too has died, the same goes with Cas. They're just perfect for one another, they can relate to each other and I'd love to see them promise one another that neither one of them ever have to be lonely again because they have each other.

I've had a rough year, and basically, watching those two idjits be so in love with each other pulled me out of it. Canon Destiel would be so amazing, because, let's be honest, the writers and actors are intentionally screwing with us. We don't have to reach far at all to find a line that makes us want to dance and write fluffy fanfiction. So, I say, why not go all the way? It's basically quietly canon already. Let them be happy for once. Give them each other.

There are plans to bring back the mishapocalypse on Misha’s birthday, I think it’s a terrible idea. We need to honor him with something more meaningful. Something that shows our love for him and to express what he means to us and how inspirational he is. We can contribute on that day by donating to random acts and encouraging others to do so. Also with posts of appreciation of how remarkable he is as an actor, father, husband and humanitarian. Reblog and spread the word, let’s not weird him out on his birthday with another mishapocalipse.

Hi guys, thanks to all for following. Keep sending messages sharing what Dean/Cas mean to you. Also, if you know of any post that needs signal boost, articles, twits or any kind of post related to destiel to contribute with positive feedback, or any other initiative, send in the link.

To me, Dean and Castiel matter because they chose each other. Their story is the story of fighting for freedom, for rebelling against fate and destiny and God's plan, and in the midst of that story, they chose each other even though they were never meant to be together. That choice means all the world.

I'm a long-time viewer who didn't notice Dean/Cas until S8. At this point, it seems to be where the story is headed, and I feel if TPTB back out at this point, it would have been a lot of development with zero payoff, which is just bad writing. I've really grown to love the idea of them as a couple, and if it were to be taken from subtext and made canon it could really shake things up--not just on SPN, but on TV as a whole. They've got a great opportunity here. It would be a landmark move.
