I fond it so hilarous how these spoiled brats have absolutely no idea how fortunate they are. I myself come from a privaledge family but I have always worked for all I have recieved. I've had a job since I was 15 and a half . These spoiled teens have everything handed to them on a silver platter and are still not pleased. I remember a few years after the Sweet Sixteen show came out they had a a new show called Bratcamp, where they took these kids out to the amazon jungle, artic circle and other places where they were forced to stay for two weeks so perhaps they could appriciate what they have. There are so many teens out there who can't even continue with school because they must support their family by getting a job. The kids featured in the show wouldn't know the first thing about sacrifice while some have to live by it. I hope that these kids watched their episodes and were appalled at what they saw, and hopefully they are not the same brats they were when they were 16.

“If you cut off my reproductive choice…I’ll cut off yours” Kind of a bold way to start off right?   A hot issue in today’s world is abortion and wether women should be able to do so. According to the Orlando Medical Center for women’s Health 1/3 of pregnancies are unplanned, 22% of pregnancies end in abortion. People who fight for Pro Life which is anti-abortion are very radical in my eyes; you may have seen them with disturbing bloody fetus pictures on campus or at other locations. They believe abortion is murder to the young UNDEVELOPED fetus that it is against God plan to do so. Personally I think the only people who should have a choice in the decision are the mother and father of the unborn child.  For example what if you knew if you gave birth you would die and the baby might not have a chance to make it either, it doesn’t seem like a very good idea to remain pregnant does it. Or if you got raped and found out you were pregnant, you WOULD NOT want to keep that child you would hate that baby. Simply if you can’t take care of it, these are three of the many reasons why women get abortions. I have a close friend who was in a very abusive relationship that ended in a restraining order 2 weeks after she found out she was pregnant, if you were in her shoes would you keep it? The main point I’m trying to get across is that women should be able to and have access to abortions and more importantly pregnancy prevention i.e.; condoms, birth control and other contraceptives. Planned Parenthood is a nonprofit organization who does just this but there have been talks about cutting funding. It is important to keep these resources available to women and girls.

Bullying. Many people who bully others struggle with their own insecurities.BY beating down other people’s identity they are able to feel better about their own identity. There are many different reasons why people bully; insecurity, to instill fear in others, to gain popularity, etc. Bullying has always gone on throughout the centuries whether it is for one’s race, body type, personal interests or just because someone feels like picking on them. The story of Amanda Todd is so tragic, she made some bad decisions on the internet and they followed her no matter what school she went to, she was told by many of her peers that it would be best for her to kill herself. Yes, bullying awareness has gone up in school systems but it is impervious to most adults that it is going on, unless someone speaks up about it. According to the CDC suicide is the third leading cause of death among teens resulting in 4,400 deaths per year. Think about that girl you picked on, will you really seek joy out of her death? Well that’s what you pushed her to do. All she needed was a friend, one person to let her know that they were there for her. I believe that every day we should go out of our way to make a person smile, even just a “Hello, how are you?” We were told since elementary school; do unto others as you would have them do unto you- The Golden Rule. With Random acts of kindness we might be able to save those who really need the help.
