please tell me I’m not the only one who likes the idea of aethelflaed and aldhelm being together. in season 3, when she was healing him, is when i really began paying attention but in episode of 4 of the new season, that was just wow.

when she picked him to be the one to do the duty if the battle was lost. when they got surrounded and he couldn’t go through it. “Aldhelm you must. Please” “I can’t, I can’t” That was just...wow. I know it’ll never happen but their relationship, his devotion to her, is just so good.
