No toys for now!

Because I'm moving super soon. So I'll post pictures once I'm in my new place, but for now I'm so busy packing that I can't take/edit/post pictures, which is really unfortunate because I have some cool new stuff to post. Plus, I won't get to work on MY kaiju I have planned until I'm entirely settled in! I pretty much just need to get sculpting, and then I'll cast this version in resin. I'd like to do vinyl since I like the material better, but I'm more familiar w/ resin so for now I'll stick with that. I think I'll save the vinyl for a larger version of the same kaiju. The resin will be about 4-5 inches I'm pretty sure, and I think if I could do vinyl he'll be about twice that.

Hey! I'm just from Minnesota Usa, and the little Uglydoll Windup is from www.myplasticheart.com. In the US at least the shipping is very fast and they process the orders quickly too. They also have a few other types of Uglydolls available as well. Here's the windup fullset so you can see them all!

This is my little Uglydoll Peaco windup. My younger sister was helping me out with making him swim while I did the camera, and then she wanted to see if he could swim upside down. Yep, I'm glad I went ahead and ordered this guy.

Okay, so this is what I got at the same time as that Unicorno, an awesome black and grey clear cat! It's super cool because the vinyl is clear itself, but then the back is sprayed and then of course the little details on the front are. It is probably one of my favorites now that I have in in hand. After seeing it I was a little surprised that it hadn't been sold out on Myplasticheart. It doesn't look like much in the site's picture, but it is very cool in person.

AND THEN I was on Lulubell the other day (again) and I saw that they have the mono FBC. Plus a bunch of other really cool toys that are reasonably priced. It -almost- makes me want to spend all my money on them instead of saving for my new apartment. Almost.

Secret cinema found beneath Paris

In September 2004, French police discovered a hidden chamber in the catacombs under Paris. It contained a full-sized movie screen, projection equipment, a bar, a pressure cooker for making couscous, a professionally installed electricity system, and at least three phone lines. Movies ranged from 1950s noir classics to recent thrillers.

When the police returned three days later, the phone and power lines had been cut and there was a note on the floor: “Do not try to find us.” (via)

OKAY. First off, I got a Tokidoki Unicorno the other day along with something else! However, as cute as it is, some of the paint looks like it was done too wet (like on the mane), and then her head is sort of wobbly and I'm worried her tail is going to fall off. Other then that though she is much larger than I thought and still a welcome edition on my windowsill. I just don't think I'll get another one.

AND THEN I have this great 1983 Imperial Dragon-horse thing. Seriously cool! I've had is for several years I think, and at some point I found the light tan one and the mini one, but I didn't get them and I'm still kicking myself over it. Plus, if you zoom out, my dragon-horse looks like it's trying to eat my plant in a fit of rage. It's the best.

Two quick and poorly pictured things: Three of the FOUR bats that were harassing me last night (we found them in some vases this morning), and then my little cat and her curly tail. That is all.

There are now TWO bats flying around the house and they wont SHUTUP..

THERE. I finally thought of a real name for my tumblr instead of my username, and I got rid of that stupid background picture I decided I hated after I first uploaded it. Also I think I've decided I am going to do more stuff with designer toys on here and I'm not sure what else.

I don't know, it's 5 am now and those bats wont shut the hell up nor will they stop flying at me when I go in the dinning room. When I'm not in there they park themselves on the walls and chat at each other, but as soon as I walk in it's all "ZOOM HEY GET OUT OF HERE THIS IS OUR ROOM NOW". I think just for revenge I'm going to in there and assault them with my camera and it's crazy flash attack. Or I'm just going to play Animal Crossing until everyone else wakes up. Whatever happens first.
