Recently, while staring far too long at a potato chip, it occurred to me that the ridges could possibly be used to create a lenticular effect. So I got out some chip dip (and the smallest paint brush I have) to test it out. I started with a simple 2-frame illustration of a football and a basketball, then I painted a little sour cream and onion dip bird. đ„đïž

Magical encounter while free falling.
Can you imagine being that bird? You see a big falling dot off in the distance, so you go to investigate. And itâs a human. Just, like, hanging out, in the middle of the sky. Plumbing toward earth at terminal velocity.
âHuh, thatâs weirdâ you think to yourself.
You land on them. They seem nonplussed by their predicament.
But youâre a busy bird, youâve got places to be. So you just fly off. Good luck, crazy human. Hope you make it.

Susanna Bauerâs Crocheted Leaves.
Delicate and fascinating natural sculptures by Susanna Bauer where leaves are crocheted together as well as aesthetically furthered through complex patterns and designs. Â I am absolutely loving them.

Yueqi Jazzy Li captures âsublime qualityâ of Luyeyuan Buddhist Sculpture Museum in new photos
New photographs by Yueqi Jazzy Li capture the interplay of natural light on the raw concrete walls in this sculpture museum by Jiakun Architects in Chengdu, China. The New York-based architect and photographer travelled to the province of Sichuan to shoot the Luyeyuan Buddhist Sculpture Museum, which completed in 2002.
âNearly 16 years later, it still holds a significant place in the discourse of modern Chinese architecture,â Li told Dezeen. âFor those that follow contemporary Chinese architects, many including myself see him and Wang Shu as the leading pioneers whose works truly start to address modernity in the context of China.â
