Jealous Sherlock

So John comes home from a job interview and finds Sherlock in the middle of thinking, trying to figure out a case. He’s so into it he never noticed that John had gone out, and barely notices as he returns. He stays focused staring at nothing.

But then, John mentions the job interview he just returned from

Notice how Sherlock responds with, “How was it?” seemingly interested but doesn’t move until John slips out the word “she”. Sherlock’s head immediately jerks up and he looks at John.

He says it almost demanding, so I didn’t bother putting a question mark in the picture, as there was hardly one in his voice.

John turns to look at Sherlock, noticing his mistake on saying “she” and he looks curious, even almost smiling at the tone of Sherlock’s voice as he explains that he was talking about the job.

Once again there was barely a question mark, but Sherlock looks slightly relieved, just confused as to why John said “she”.

John again corrects himself by calling the job an “it”. Maybe it’s just the Johnlock fangirl in me, but I still hint a sign of a smile on John, and giddiness (if that’s the right word for this) that Sherlock sounded so jealous.

Sherlock stares at him, calmly, for a moment longer before once again completely changing the subject and asking John to take a look at something on the computer.

They’re just adorable.
