Are you a happy person?

Frankie used to be a very happy person before she was turned but her attitude since has been much more negative. After all, it’s hard to find the positives in life when you’re dead.

Of course I’m a happy person. Why wouldn’t I be happy?

How do you feel about being a vampire?

Frankie’s still mostly unsure about her feelings towards being a vampire. She’s mostly in a state of shock and trying to convince herself there’s nothing terrible about it, necessarily. There are advantages, of course, to being young forever and she tries to focus on that. But then she remembers that she’ll be fourteen forever, and relying on blood to survive and that aside from her brothers it could be a very lonely existence for eternity and that gets her down some days.

It’s fine. I mean, who doesn’t want to be young and beautiful permanently.
