Hippie Harvest Challenge Notes

One of my favorite You Tubers is doing a revival of her Hippie Harvest Challenge. I promised to post my notes on my own experimentation with the challenge in 4 for her to compare to her 3 variant. Obviously this list is subject to change once Seasons hits. I believe some new plants are being added that might throw off the items in some categories.

I chose tiers based on how many items were in that category. I count oddball products like Growfruit or Trash Fruit is optional. Growfruit was a special event item, and doubtful anyone wants to grow Trash Fruit.

Lady Elle called all the members of The Night Court to the Straud estate. She was at a loss as she explained the situation to the other nobles. The others find this whole situation hard to swallow. The notion that Claudius would kill anyone was not one they ever had. It was Johanna that spoke up on his behalf. Johanna had always hated Tristan for his crimes against her family. Although Vladius had punished Tristan with a life as a human servant; she felt going so far to murdering so many, turning a noble into a human, and committing an assassination would have made the late Lord Straud consider the death penalty. Wouldn’t they have sentenced Tristan to death if they had caught him?

Elle had instructed Headmistress Korrin to extend the children’s time at the school while the nobles deliberated over the new events. This gave some of the students time to squeak by enough studying to pass their finals. While here, Headmistress Korrin allowed free study. Any that mastered additional skills would be credited accordingly for the next semester. This mattered little to Claudius. He did spend all his free time painting. It helped clear his mind of the hurricane of emotions and thoughts he was experiencing after his uncle’s death. What pained him more was that Callista never seemed to be around him anymore. 

Callista spent this free time pouring into the additional studies. It made Headmistress Korrin incredibly pleased at her studious nature. Korrin knew the events involved a trio of students experiencing a traumatic event. She was pleased that Callista was coping so well. In truth, Callista wasn’t. The studying was a distraction. She had witnessed her best friend and love murder someone in cold blood. The way Claudius had coldly brushed it off mere seconds after the crime was committed frightened her. She was more using her studies as an excuse to avoid him.

The school was eventually dismissed. Callista, Fadiya, Constantine, and Stella all were reunited with their parents. The siblings had alot to adjust to this break from school. Johanna was happy to learn that while most of her children were passed to sophomores in the prep school. Constantine’s avid love of music, and Callista’s incredible study habits as a whole, had led to two of her children being bumped to junior year students. She was delighted that her house was full of such bright minds.

“Callista, dear, what are you doing here?” Elle questioned as Callista came running into the crypt beneath the estate. Elle had been enjoying the acoustics of the crypt to fully experience the organ without interruption. Thus, she was unaware of anyone else in the estate.

“Lady Straud, it’s terrible!” Callista shouted.

“Oh man, so glad we found you. It’s Claudius,” Fadiya added as she rounded the corner into the crypt.

Elle looked to the two girls with worry as she came closer, “Claudius? Is he okay!?”

“I...I’m fine mother...” Claudius stammered as he too came into view. His face bloodied and bruised from his fight with Tristan. Although Tristan did not have his vampiric strength anymore, he had still beat Claudius up quite well before his death.

“My baby!” Elle screeched reaching to hold Claudius’ face in her hands. He flinched and pulled away from her grasp. Even her gentle touch hurt too much on his bruised face.

“Dear, what happened to you?!” Elle exclaimed.

“It..It was him all along. Uncle was the one that killed Fadiya’s human family. He..He was the one that killed father,” Claudius stammered, his emotions running so wild he was trembling and on the verge of tears.

“I...I killed him. We got into a fight, and I killed him!” Claudius shouted, grief in his voice as the realization of him taking another’s life hit him.

Elle quickly scooped him into her arms. She patted his back and cooed softly for him to calm down. She told the children she would have them escorted back to the school grounds. They were to stay there until further notice. She would call The Night Court for an emergency meeting.

With a dark venom in his voice, Claudius turned to Tristan, “Uncle, you care to explain yourself before I drag you straight to The Night Court myself?”

“You can’t do that! Who do you think your mother would believe?” Tristan shouted.

“Me! We both know my parents have always watched you like a hawk. Now I see they had good reason to watch you,” Claudius replied smugly.

“You little brat. I hated how high you Straud’s think you all are. I am a Van Gould! While we are airing out my dirty works, guess who your mother never suspected? Me! He never saw it coming. Your father thought I was too gutless of a coward. I made quick work of his smug face,” Tristan raved.

POW!

Claudius threw his fist straight into Tristan’s jaw. Tristan glowered back at him before lunging on the young vampire. He knew he was doomed. But, maybe he could kill this Straud too? The two fought viciously in the manor. Fadiya kept Callista back out of the fray. The two couldn’t process all that had transpired. It was then the sickening CRACK and crumble of a lifeless body brought back their voices.

“D-Dude, you...you killed him!?” Fadiya shouted.

Claudius did not turn to his friends, still processing his deed. His voiced was dark as he replied, “You heard him. He took so much away from us. He was only going keep taking those we care about away. I..I couldn’t just let him do it anymore. Let’s get out of here. We need to get back before we are missed.”

“Absolutely not!” Callista exclaimed, “Claudius, you just killed your uncle! Whether he deserved to be taken down or not, it was not our choice to make. We are finding your mom right now! We can’t hide this from the elders.”

do you have a key activation code for the sims 4 vampires?

Not sure where this idea came from. Unless it was the really old Post I reblogged to try and get a free copy before I bought my own.But, the answer is no. The only copy I have is my personal copy of the digital version on the origin store I bought. Sorry if there was any confusing of me giving out any.

“Well, hello children. What brings this unexpected visit home?” Tristan asked kindly.

The three gathered together behind Claudius. Johanna had always warned her children to never trust Tristan Van Gould. Claudius held no such suspicion. He was raised to believe his uncle was harmless.

“I grew anxious with the investigation. Tell me, Uncle, what you say on my father’s death?” Claudius asked him.

Tristan chuckled as he grew a wry smile. It was a long shot, with the girls here, but just maybe he could convince Claudius of directing his grief in an advantageous direction for him.

“Why, my boy, I fear it is simple. Of course, your mother would never hear of it; but I can only think of one possible suspect. There is only one member of the hollow with the knowledge and ingredients to BREW such a potion to defeat your father,” Tristan began with emphasis on the brew part, “It has to be Lady Johanna. She was raised with witches. Brewing a potion to render a vampire human is not unlike her. She did it to me. She, unfortunately to my own shame, is unhinged. Who knows why she targeted her own friend’s mate.”

Callista rounded on Tristan at this. She screeched, “How dare you! My mother would never betray the Straud family! She only attacked you for destroying her life! My mother has never even attempted that brew again.”

Tristan scoffed at Callista as he replied,”I see you have her insubordinate streak. She always was quick to chastise her elders as well. Surely you don’t believe these bold women over your own family, Claudius.”

“Uncle, what you say is preposterous. Even if she can make it, what proof is there Lady De’ Mont would ever attack our house?” Claudius tried to mediate the dispute.

“Yeah, wouldn’t you have more to gain from all this. It’s no secret Lord Straud hated you. Plus, the bad blood you have with our mother makes it suspicious you would throw her name out as a suspect so willingly. How do we know you are not trying to set her up?” Fadiya questioned.

Tristan growled before yelling at Fadiya. He had little time to register his words before he said them. Tristan exclaimed, “You keep your nose out of noble matters, brat! You are just a product of a failed set up against Johanna anyways!”

“Wait, what did you just say! It…It was you! You took my life away!” Fadiya exclaimed.

Tristan began to cower. He had misspoke. His secret was out. The three vampires began to surround him. Fear crept over him like the hand of death. His fate was now held in a terrible balance.

“Crap, it’s Bella. Of course Lady De’ Mont would have the legion out patrolling,” Fadiya whispered.

“Quick! Cut around the back of the square. We can bypass her and get to the manor from there,” Claudius issued a hushed order.

The trio quickly scattered to the path towards the Straud estate. They had succeeded in evading Bella’s graze. Now they only hoped they didn’t run into any of the other adults before they could find some clue to the Count’s assassination. They soon made it to the estate.

“Claudius, are you sure about this?” Callista questioned, “It’s not too late for us to turn back now.”

“Callista, I have to atleast try. What if it had been your father? Could you honestly tell me you would sit on the sidelines and just be able to wait for someone to find the killer?” Claudius explained his conviction.

With this, Callista admitted there was no turning back now. The three snuck into the manor and began their search. The manor was just how Claudius left it. He led them to his bedroom. There they could hide while they planned how to search for any missed clues to what had happened to the count.

“It’s hard to imagine last time I was here was the last time I would see him,” Claudius said.

“It’s hard to imagine I would be seeing any of you here tonight,” a smooth voice replied. 

The three turned with a start to see Claudius’ uncle had entered the room!

Finals were coming close at the prep school. Every moment filled Claudius with more anxiety. There was little leads to go on still as to his father’s killer. Claudius found it harder and harder to focus on his studies. He even stopped wearing his uniform to class. Headmistress Korrin let this dress code break slip. Stern as she was, the headmistress wasn’t heartless enough to not recognize the mourning the young lord faced.

As one night fell on a free study night of classes, Claudius found himself looking onward past the school grounds  He couldn’t just stay in this school any longer. Each day felt like he was in a cage. 

“Claudius, what are you doing?” a demure question from Callista called behind him.

“You doing okay?” Fadiya’s voice followed close behind Callista’s.

Claudius turned to his friends. He did not hide his intentions from them. He told them he was going back to the hollow. He wanted to find his father’s killer himself.

“Claudius, that is too dangerous to go alone. Atleast let us come with you,” Callista replied.

“I’m down for some vigilante justice,” Fadiya chuckled.

“Don’t encourage him! If we find anything, we should report to the elders. It would be too dangerous to do ourselves,” Callista scolded as the snuck out the gates.

“Thank you both; but we will have to see how this plays out,” Claudius thanked his friends as the escaped the school.

New Forgotten Grove coming soon

Long time no see my fellow simmers. Got a stroke of inspiration to finish the story arch I started a good while back for Forgotten Grove. It will be heavily edited though. I used the extreme violence mod for some scenes and didn't quite take the time to edit down how graphic some scenes came out. So, alot will have to be told more through text than seen.

Two days before birthday. Good good.

This the second time Anya has been woken up by loud woohooing in here apartment complex. Every time this guy comes out dressed like this, I am even more confused about what he is up to. To each their own though!

Totally was a bad taco and didn't upload even though I played Sims all my free time today. I honestly thought the new features might be too obstrusive. I was wrong. Something about a disgruntled princess going through a phase that ends after her mother takes her to volunteer at a soup kitchen was so cute. It was like she learned the true purpose of her future wasn't just to rule over others. It is to be a kind leader that does her best for her subjects. Dats nice.

Sometimes I like to kick back with a good old fashion sims challenge. Honestly, Brackengrove started as a coven challenge I fell too hard for to keep to myself. Meet Springtime Meadow. She wants to collect and grow top quality versions of every single plant in the world. Her lifetime goal being to be able to sell farm fresh, high quality produce, locally to her community.

Believe me it took a while to scratch out every gardening plant in the game into tiers she had to meet to beat this challenge. Little Springtime is helping me on my spin of SimpleBliss’s Hippie Harvest challenge for the sims 3. She sells her produce at the local park with the flea market tables from City Living. Its a fun chill out in between my personal life and working on Forgotten Grove. 

Honestly, my biggest struggle is her loneliness. She only sees other sims when selling her wares. I may have to recruit her a companion in the future. Someone that she connects with and can share her sweet little passion.

Wolfgang had been disappointed to hear he had not been made captain of the Windenburg outpost. His ill humor with Lady De’ Monte vanished when he saw what his reward turned into for taking the initiative of making an outpost. Lady De’ Monte had sent him a pair of lovely young ladies to work with. Captain Cassandra Goth was a fine choice indeed. They had a bit in common. Even Wolfgang had to admit she was a far better fighter and better tactician than he was. Miko...well...she was very cute and dangerously strong.

Cassandra took solace in designing her quarters in a bleak and studious decor. She had always been a dreary woman, more apt to her pursuit of the mind than the pursuit of happiness. She had to admit Wolfgang was insufferable how he strutted about his house. She knew he thought it was a dream come true to have a house of women to live with. She only hoped he could keep his mind on their duty more than pursuing them for dates.

Miko was the oddball, fun loving and free. She was the polar opposite of the dark-natured cohorts she lived with.

“What did you do to my old room?!” Wolfgang had exclaimed at her design choices.

“It looks like a garden threw up in here, or a flower massacre,”Cassandra joked.

“What? I like pink and this is so amazing of a design choice. Think about it. You guys have your dark and depressing color schemes. Where my room just BLASTS with a pop of pinky color!” Miko defended her room.

The trio ended up agreeing to disagree on what made for a good room style.

Cassandra and Johanna sat down on the couch. Johanna had asked the Goth family to come to a vacant house within the hollow. She had briefed Bella and Mortimer as to why. It was now time she filled Cassandra in on her plot.

“Cassandra, you are on of my closest and best students amongst my children,” Johanna told Cassandra.

“Thank you, my lady. But, I think Miko might be better than I,” Cassandra replied.

“Funny you bring Miko up actually. Both your special talents have stood out to me. But, I think I should address why the Goths have come to this estate. You see, I have decided to move a contingent of my eldest and strongest children into Forgotten Hollow. Lady Straud agrees we should have warriors on hand to defend the hollow from further attacks. The Goths are my eldest and strongest children,” Johanna explained.

Cassandra’s face turned to a sour expression. She shouted at her mistress,”Wait, you convinced my parents to leave our home in Willow Creek for this place! That was our HOME! The Goth family has lived there for ages.”

“I understand asking you to leave your childhood home is alot. But, I trust your family to protect Forgotten Hollow. You can’t protect as well as we need right now from Willow Creek. Speaking of being where we need you most, I have a favor to ask you,” Johanna tried to quell her fury.

“Wolfgang has turned his home into an outpost for Windenburg. With Straud Prep being in that region, we need to split the legion to protect the school. I want to send you and Miko to help Wolfgang protect the school. Cassandra, I would be most pleased if you would also accept the position of captain of this outpost,” Johanna explained her needs to Cassandra. She held a pleading face to her third eldest “child”.

“Alright. I will go lead your Windenburg faction. Can’t be too bad. I get away from under my parents’ thumbs and I got Miko. If we are the best, the school is safe with us both there,” Cassandra relented.

“Thank you, my child. The Night Court will not forget your loyalty,” Johanna said with a sigh of relief.

“Oh my dear, I am so glad to see you!”Johanna exclaimed when she finally found her eldest daughter. She had already located her other children. Callista had gone off with the mourning Claudius alone.

“Mom, it is so good to see you,” Callista replied as she accepted her mother’s protective hug.

It wasn’t soon after she wrapped Claudius in a motherly hug as well.

“Oh, I am so sorry for your loss my dear. Your father was a good and honorable man. How are you holding up?” Johanna consoled Claudius.

Claudius gave a hollow chuckle at Johanna fussing over him like one of her own. He then replied, “I am...managing. It wasn’t that long ago the Headmistress gathered us together to tell us the news. How is mother doing?”

“She is an absolute wreck, my child. Your worm of an uncle and I were with her when she laid him to rest. Someone...someone had turned him human before they killed him. You must understand, to nobles like your parents, that is even worse than if they died as a vampire. To have their vampire powers stripped away and slain as a mortal is an act of ultimate disgrace. That worm and I did our best to comfort her,” Johanna explained.

Claudius was taken aback by the news his father had been turned into a mortal on top of being slain. Vampiric cures were exceptionally rare. They were outright outlawed in Forgotten Hollow. To think someone had taken the time to acquire one just to kill his father. It made everything even more unsettling. Johanna kissed the two on the forehead and bid her good byes. She had to report with her Legion back in Forgotten Hollow. She dare not leave the distraught Elle’s side for long; and the legion needed to be separated into patrols for both Forgotten Hollow and Straud Prep.

The trio retreated to the privacy of the student lounge. Claudius was still shaking with rage. Atleast Callista and Fadiya thought it was rage. Honestly, they didn’t know exactly what was going through Claudius’ head. He was just publicly told someone killed his father!

“Where does Korrin get off doing that!? I mean, yeah, we should be told about this. But, she should have taken you aside first and told you. That is no way to find out you lost someone close to you,” Fadiya ranted.

“Like I have any choice in it now! Someone just waltzed into my house and killed my father! Honestly, I am glad to hear my mother is atleast safe. She rarely leaves my father’s side,” Claudius shouted before clenching his fist and muttering, “If they had got her too...I will make them pay for this!”

Callista put on her best shot at a smile and tried to comfort her friend, ”Headmistress Korrin said we couldn’t leave without the De’ Monte Legion as escorts. That is my mother’s personal army. That means my mother is putting a lot of support in helping find his killer. We all know our mothers are as close as sisters. Besides, my mother is probably the next oldest and one of the most powerful after your father. If she is hunting down the killer, they will be a goner.”

Claudius was comforted a little that his mother indeed has strong allies to fall back on in her time of need. The legends of Johanna De’ Monte and the Brackengrove Coven she had once belonged to were now common stories all the younglings knew. Little did the trio know Johanna had arrived to pay the academy a visit. She had brought her legion to search the school for any sign of invasion. As a concerned mother, she also came to check on her own children. No one knew who killed Lord Straud. Everyone feared that young Claudius might be next.
