The sudden cheer behind them brings a broad smile to drunken features. “Fun,” Logan reiterates for a moment before licking her lips. It had definitely been one of the more memorable ad campaigns she’d seen recently. “Perhaps you could model it for me in person some time and show me just how much fun it can be,” the blonde flirts with a wink. Truth be told, she has no idea who she’s actually talking to. All she knows is that this definitely isn’t her brother’s house and she’s okay with. “Logan by the way”.

   Curiosity about the stranger before him barely stretches beyond damn, this girl is hot. That bit just beyond, however, is enough for his consciousness to come forth and inquire, ❝ First, I wanna know how you ended up on my doorstep at this hour. ❞ The likelihood of this woman – Logan – being some murderess is slim, right? Not that he cares to entertain that idea right now… ❝ Logan! A girl with a boy name. You should meet my friend. He’s a boy with a girl name. ❞

“I mean, you do you fam. Whatever you do with your abs is your business,” Logan slurs before leaning forward and gently caressing his face. It’s been a long time since the blonde was this drunk but right now that’s not important. “You’re that guy! The one in the boxers with the caution tape!” The saucier practically screams before pausing for a moment and glancing down at his groin for a moment. “Congratulations on that by the way. Quite impressive”.

   Oh, an attractive woman touching his face? Nice. Been a while since that happened ( the story of why too disheartening for him to dare recall right now ). As said women erupts in emphatic exclamation, the boys just some fifteen feet away cheer him on – like they know exactly what John is thinking. He laughs, diverting some attention away from the spreading blush upon his face. ❝ Yeah, that- that was me. We had a lotta fun with that caution tape; it was very––– I forgot the word. ❞

Logan’s had far too much drink. Her legs are hardly holding her up as she stumbles towards what she believes is her brother’s house. Laughter is quick to follow as the occupant who is clearly not Alexander greets her. “Aww, you think I look hot?” the chef chuckles as she glances back at the stranger’s friends who are clearly heading towards a hideous hangover. “I’m not a prostitute! You’re a prostitute!”

   ❝ I am a prostitute. I sell my body. To companies. So they can sell their clothes. ❞ By the wide, cheeky grin slathered upon handsome features, you can tell at just a glance that John is shattered. ❝ I’m a model. Maybe you’ve seen me in the papers. Or in the stores. ❞ It takes a moment for him to properly orient himself against the doorframe, clearing his throat as if that will make him appear more composed.

Part of James wants to argue but instead they remain quiet. They could get what they wanted by other means, should they choose that path. “There is something that I would like to acquire from the house. Something I’d be willing to lower my price for, if you’re into that”.

   ❝ If you want what I think you want, the answer is no. Do if on your own time; I’m not interested in the backlash. ❞ Diamonds and cash cause a dent, sure, but the ledger would threaten an entire operation – and being tied to that is the last thing she wants from this heist.

“Not that it’s any of my business,” James starts as she looks down at the address. Ethan Macallan would be a dangerous enemy but one they’re happy to make for this price. “But you know there’s a second safe”.

   ❝ I know, and I’m not interested in what’s inside. ❞ A stack of guns and gold are less interesting to Aleksi than diamonds and cash–– even if they translate to about the same thing in the end. This con is more about having fun than pulling much money.

“If it was as simple as simply arriving at the address and opening a safe, you’d be doing it yourself. That being said, we both know that it’s not so stop playing hard ball”. James refuses to back down. Without her there was no job and they both knew that.

   ❝ Fine. Take your thirty-eight percent. ❞ Loosing another eight-hundred thousand stings a little ( especially after all the work that’s gone into this heist ), but there really is no other way around it. Aleksi slips James a slip of paper with the address and her number on it.

Thirty percent isn’t all that generous for such a task. “If you’re after skills like that you should be offering at least thirty eight percent. That and you should have a chat to your contact about the accuracy of their claims. I can crack it in three”.

   ❝ I said thirty percent. All I need is you to arrive at the address and open the safe. ❞ Apparently a solid three million is too little for a simple safe cracking job. It’s not as though Aleksi has spent months and months carefully orchestrating this perfect window of time for the job…
