Gonna be honest, with how Grian looked, I thought he was the offspring of 2 queens (ender dragon x watcher) and i was like "oh my God... the child of 2 yuri dragons, good for them 👍"

i was thinking about this a bit and i think this is mostly how it is tbh. theres a couple other rider dragon duos like etho(Arctic fox inspired dragon) and bdubs(popular viking). i only got so far designing everyone else though. '-_-

Is it Watcher like? Ender dragon like? Bird like?

I have a lot of questions and as you can see I am insane over your AU

its a lot like his current dragon form with a mix of feathers and scales and quadruped, but his scary mom character looks a lot more like spooky howl in howls moving castle. Shes much more...biblical looking if that makes sense.

I’m actually going to reblog a thing just because this is really important.

As someone who has epilepsy and used to have several grand mal seizures a day, I’d also like to add that “offer help” can range anywhere from keeping the person calm to explaining to them where they are and what they were doing to even just telling them they should sit and rest for a while longer (lack or coordination is common, and it can be hard to walk straight or see clearly).

It’s okay for them to take up to a half hour to fully regain their bearings and sort out what they were doing prior to the seizure. Just answer any questions calmly and be there for support.

If they come around and you start to panic or shake them or ask them what the heck is wrong with them they are going to freak out and panic too.

I cannot stress it enough that this is bad.

If someone has a seizure and they come out of it, please. please stay calm. They are likely disoriented and confused, even if it’s only for a minute or two, and you don’t want them panicking on top of that because they can have another seizure as a result.

Also to add: 5 minutes is generally seen as the cutoff time. If the seizure goes on for more than 5 minutes, it becomes a life-threatening emergency and you should call an ambulance, because this is the time at which a seizure starts risking permanent brain damage to the person.

Additionally, if the person is somebody who you know and who trusts you, it can be helpful to takr a video of them seizing. Obviously don’t do this with strangers, but when it is somebody’s first time having a seizure, it can be incredibly beneficial to doctors when diagnosing somebody if they can see what the seizure actually looked like.

addition: if someone does not have a history of seizures, call an ambulance IMMEDIATELY after getting them in a safe position! this is a medical emergency. stay with them until EMS arrives and once EMS does, go grab their phone, phone charger, and wallet with their ID and everything and put it all in a bag and leave it with them if you’re not allowed to ride in the ambulance.

the "feeling like something is wrong with you that you have to hide" background noise is often a result of childhood trauma because an abused or neglected child who doesn't rationalize their mistreatment runs the risk of alienating themselves from what little shelter and care is actually being provided. it's theorized that blaming yourself at that age is a way to survive by coming up with a justification for why you're being abused so you don't blame your caregivers for your own suffering, thereby alienating them to the point that you are fed or sheltered or protected even less than you are currently. believing you may be able to "change" so that you're worthy of love also prevents despair/giving up. it's of utmost importance to the survival of very small children to develop a worldview that keeps them alive, even if it's by totally magical thinking and at the cost of their ability to perceive reality or navigate normal human relationships. the same thing can happen to adults in abusive domestic situations.

anyway once you're out of that situation it's time to get really pissed off
