It does matter. It matters exactly like this.

Last month I was in the ER, the most vulnerable emotionally that I've ever been while putting myself in the hands of a stranger. That the intake doctor had a lanyard heavy with Pride pins mattered. It's such a tiny gesture, but the amount of safety I felt because of it, during an agonizing moment in my life, was huge.

We recently moved to rural area and some neighbors have straight up MAGA flags so the person with the biggest flagpole for miles around putting up a GIGANTIC Progress Pride flag last June and this June has actually meant a lot to me.

2021

So I’m going to be pessimistic and assume that 2021 isn’t going to be any different to 2020. In which case, to keep myself sane, I’ll set some projects like I did last year. 2020 was painting my retro 3rd edition Salamanders Space Marines and making my God-Eternal Oketra EDH deck, 2021 is going to be “paint a Primarch” in the form of Vulkan and making my Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider EDH deck. Maybe I’ll be able to use them some day *cries*

Had my first DnD combat experience under the guidance of @laalratty. I’m pleased to report that Felithra, my Wood Elf ranger, was able to kill two wolves :)

Trying to reignite my love of Malifaux by prepping and painting my 1st edition Colette crew. If anyone can light the Malifaux spark again for me, it’s Colette. Man I love her backstory, playstyle, models, just everything.

Going to a charity Malifaux tournament soon, but I don’t think I’ve enough time to finish these two before the event. Which is a shame, as the original Kaeris model is absolutely gorgeous and I wish I’d started painting it sooner given that I’ve had her for goodness knows how long!
