  —“Oh, c’mon.  You have to admit you’re having fun with that bit of dialogue.”  Hypnos chuckled and shifted his weight to the side, snorting.  “You just loove referring to yourself as Death in those situations.  Flirting with Death.  Really?”

  —“I just wanted to catch up with them.  You know, let them know what’s been going on these past millenia, see what’s going on with you guys.  Y’know, family stuff.”  He shrugged, rolling his shoulders back in the process.  “Ah, nothing’s up with me.  Just loving this new generation of sleepless adolescents that pass out at their desks.  Do you realize how fun it is to harass those kids?”

"Okay, okay, I'll admit that at least, but only because it's you." Thanatos commented, shrugging his shoulders with a smirk. "Oh come on, you give me the opportunity and I'd be stupid not to take it. To be fair, though, the mortals made that one up first, not me."

"Makes sense, there's a lot to catch up on, too. It's been a looooong time." He gave a laugh, knowing his brother would say that. "It must be, especially with how bad they are with getting proper sleep lately, though I have the same problem now and then, but I'm thinking that has less to do with my habits and more with yours."

Aaaand yet again another scratch of ink across his work along with a surprised short shriek, nothing can ever get done around here can it? Sudden dread and slight fear as he turns to look at Hypnos. He forgot that he used that name, too.

"...... Morning. Long time no see, Hypnos..... What brings you here?"

  —“If you really were dreaming, I wouldn’t trust anything.  For all you know, you’re not talking to Sleep.  You could be talking to Dreams, or Surrealism, or even Nightmares.  Keep an eye out.”  And just a casual nod towards his sons, because why not?  He loved them.  “Not even Death can escape them.”

  —“Oh, I’m just wandering.  I thought I found a trace of mom and dad, so I followed it and ended up here.  I was chasing Night, and I found Death.  And if that isn’t the most depressing sentence, I don’t know what is.  But who cares?”  Pauses, then smirks.  “‘Sup, bro?”

"I've heard of sleep-talking, but this is ridiculous." Chuckles. "Not like I'll even try, I've learned that even if no one can escape Death, they can sure as hell catch him."

"Whatcha looking for them for? It'll be pretty hard to track them down, considering how busy they usually are. You're sounding like some preteen going through a phase just then, so yeah." Pauses as well, before grinning widely. "Not muuuuuch~" Okay, a lot is up, kinda happens when you haven't seen each other for hundreds of years. "You?"

Nervously fiddles with the ribbons on Clyde’s present while chewing on her bottom lip.

Call her paranoid but sadly that’s what a female Wallace is like when you willingly make homemade gifts for someone for the first time and not knowing if your date is going to like it or not.

…Or if it’s terrible enough to kill an immortal.

Quietly bumps head against wall a ways from the door.

Clyde wasn't nervous, anxious would probably be a better term in his opinion. He hadn't had a legitimate date in a long while, nor a Valentine's Day one at that. The death lord was even nervous-- no, no, no, anxious --enough to ask Persephone for advice on what flowers to get, and she terrified him. He would have asked Eros or Aphrodite, but they were obviously busy considering the day, so the goddess of spring and the Underworld was the next best option.

Composing himself and giving himself a once over in the mirror, he hid the flowers, picked from Elysium, behind his back and went to the door. Opening it slowly, he smiled up at Wallace.

"Sorry if I kept you waiting long, come on in."

Canvases stored away, check. Firearm hidden under the bed, check. Bullets and ammo locked securely away in dresser, check. The house is finally child proof after long hours of cleaning up and wiping down the paint stained walls and floor.

The only thing left to do is finish up dinner before Thanatos and the kids arrive. She already has most of the dishes spread on the table, although she had assistance from Clement in making a few of them.

"Let’s see, 'shimmer for five more minutes before serving…'”

Assistance notified, check. Clyde and parents notified, check. Dressed up and ready to go, weeeeell-- pending. Two out of three isn't too bad. 

"Mors, get over here and let me do your hair-- where'd your stockings and shoes go? Don't tell me Morana got to them again..." The young girl nodded, the guilty white fox passing by the door, stocking proudly held in maw and dragging on the floor. Than stood to go chase after her, but she ran off down the halls of the Underworld mansion before he could even try.

"Gah--! And Theta please stop hiding, we gotta get your vest on still, we don't wanna keep Mama waiting, alright?" In reply all he got was the sound of a cloud of smoke popping from under the bed, then another from the bathroom, which was suddenly locked. Apparently, for the boy, a fancy family day was a bit too much, even if it would only be the four of them.

No, but Clement had to spend the next five hours helping you clean up a chocolate covered kitchen when he could be doing Clemmy things like eating.

"About that, I looked into some proper binding techniques along with what I should use. I wasn’t sure if I should buy some sports bra or not when I don’t know when this gender switch thingy is going to end soon or not…"

Blinks at the question and pauses as she trying to recall if there were any plans or work on that day. “On the 14th you say? No I’m free the whole day, I think. If there was anything special going on in base, Ilya would’ve told me beforehand.”

Wallace was sure her hair did the floof thing in the air when Clyde had proposed to spend time with her on this coming 14th. She had too many counter questions to ask to notice the blush, “You mean you’ll be available the whole day? No one’s going to be nagging you about work r-right? And you’re not going to be bombarded by extra paperwork the day after, will you?”

The amount of sparkles in her eyes were ridiculous but she was just being hopeful that Clyde won’t get into trouble

"Well, if we bought you some sports bras, we could put them somewhere once this is over in case it happens again, or maybe donate them somewhere, right?"

He smiled, sighing in relief upon hearing she was free. Good, now all he had to do was actually plan the day, which he'd probably need help on considering he'd never planned a date before. Perhaps they could just go somewhere nice to eat then go home to hang out, since they were both pretty laid back, and in her current situation if he did anything more romantic she may get overwhelmed.

--Like that. Clyde suppressed a laugh at just how cute that reaction was, but couldn't help his face getting redder as she went on. Motioning for her to calm down, he gave a small chuckle. "Yes, yes, I may be able to get more days off too if I go about it right. Just like Than can slack off work worry free, I have my ways that'll cover for me while I'm gone. So yes, Wallace, I'm all yours."

Okay, that made him all too happy to say, and he knew he was likely grinning at this point, but honestly he couldn't care less. He was going to have free time again and he was going to use it wisely.

Turns around to kiss Than’s jaw, may or may not be trying really hard to suppress herself from giggling again.

"And what exactly is making you so happy these days, hmm?”

Smirks at the kiss, holding her closer and kissing her head, in a rather affectionate mood.

"What else could be why? I have an incredible family and an even more incredible partner, why wouldn't I be happy?"

"I’ve been well, I’m slowly starting to get used to this body but I guess I’ll still need some time with the binding on my chest." Fiddles with the zipper on her hoodie whilst biting her bottom lip nervously.  "What about you? You said you were ranting… Is it work again?"

"Was I really that loud...? Sorry for worrying you and making you rush, I'm fine, just stressed is all."

"That's good, but I really do worry about how you bind, I wouldn't want you to accidentally hurt yourself..." Brushes bangs away from his eye and tucks them behind ear, sighs. "Unfortunately, yes, that and something else... Wallace, are you free on the 14th?" Blushes at saying that. "I was thinking we could spend the day together..."

Yelps at the sudden arms and smooch. Giggles but leans head back against Than’s chest.

"Abusing your God powers again?"

Chuckles at the yelp and nuzzles his head against her's in apology. Content humming and swaying.

"Maaaaybe~ Can't help it if I'm in such a good mood lately, Love~"
