People who use Arthur’s hat on John in the epilogue are terrifying, why are you traumatizing Charles like that
This lowk me sorry🥀
This look on Dutch's face breaks my heart every single time I see it.
He just saw Hosea get gunned down like a dog and he is barely able to comprehend it. He's already in such a high stress situation and it just got a million times worse.
Dutch knows people will die in their life: "We have lofty goals. We're trying to reform society to a truer and kinder way- now of course, there are going to be casualties." He knows that people will die, but just his face alone shows that he never could actually comprehend the fact that HOSEA of all people could die in their line of work.
He has known Hosea for over half his life. Hosea was his best friend. They watched each other grow. They watched each other fall in love. They watched each other go through the pain of losing their loved ones. They have fished and hunted. They sang and danced and cooked up schemes and told stories and just had fun with one another. They raised three children- Arthur, John, and Tilly. They raised them from two feral boys and a girl to grown men and a woman. They taught kids how to survive. They gave them an education.
They have seen the happiest and darkest days of their life.
Hosea was his best friend. Hosea was the one constant in his life. Others would come and go, but Hosea would always be there. They'd make it to Australia or Tahiti or to the original plan of the west and can look at each other and say they actually made it.
Hosea was always there, his partner in crime, his dearest and best friend, his brother in everything but blood- he can't die.
He can't.
But he did die. He gets gunned down like a dog and all those years are gone just like that.
Hosea is dead and Dutch dies with him. Maybe he was just a good actor before, but whether it was just that or not, the man that Arthur showed so much respect to, who he would laugh with and have fun with, was gone.
Hosea is dead and Dutch dies with him. Arthur loses two parents that day.
And it breaks my heart.
Is it better to change the wheels in my 'normal' skateboard or learn all the way on it?
I got a 'normal' skateboard for tricks on my bday but since i'm learning to ride it for fun and just to.. ride on also something else than perfectly clear road, should I look for more soft wheels and if yes, where to look??
