We hear news reports everyday while scrolling through the TV channels but do we ever hear of hundreds of orphans, sons, mothers or fathers being murdered endlessly in places like Quetta, Karachi, Lahore or Rawalpindi? Do we hear the cries of those helpless mothers or the unheard screams of the orphans? One life killed is one life too many. It is time and it has been time that something is done and by that I don't mean a facebook status update, I mean continues protests. If the media doesn't want to show the truth then we will.

January 10, 2013 Quetta Massacre

January 10 two bombs exploded into Shiite majority neighborhood located in Quetta and killed over 120 civilians. Protests have spread throughout the country and globe in solidarity with the victims of this massacre as well as their families. Families of the victims refused to bury the bodies, instead blocked the streets by sitting there, along with other activists and the coffins of their loved ones. Sit-ins have been organized around the country with both Sunnis and Shiites standing outside government, airports and other significant buildings and refusing to move until their voices and demands are heard. The people demand the removal of the Baluchistan chief minister and the deployment of the army to Quetta. The Quetta sit in was ended on January 14, 2013 when the prime minister, Chaudhry Abdul Majeed announced compensation to the families in Quetta 1 million Rs. (Rupees). Lashkar e Jhangvi (terrorist group) took responsibility for the crime. Pakistanis are now demanding for change and many say protests will not stop till they are heard.     -Thousands protest in the Quetta sit-in.

April 6-11, 2007

During the demonstration outside a Shiite mosque where civilians protested against anti-Shiite slogans that were chanted a few weeks before violent attacks by local Sunni’s killed 55 people. Sectarian clashes continued between Sunni and Shiites.

May 27, 2005 Bari Imam Shrine Blast

On May 27, 2005 at Islamabad a bomb attack inside a shrine affected a crowd of Shiite and Sunni’s. Over 25 people died and 100 injured.

July 4, 2003 The Jama Masjid-o-Imambargah Massacre

During Friday Prayers at the mosque, Jama located in the capital Baluchistan one man fired into the crowd and the other arrived with a bomb and then after firing, exploded the bomb into the mass of people. Resulting in 57 injuries and around 53 deaths.

May 17,1988 The Gilgit Massacre

After the first incident which sparked the Shiite genocide in 1963 there were killings spread out throughout the year but in 1988 a massacre took place in the city, Gilgit. The reason for this massacre was the disagreement on the date Ramadan started. Ramadan is a month in the Islamic calendar. During this month Muslims fast all 29 or 30 days. Shiites go off the moon sighting in their local areas whereas Sunnis do it differently. On the last day of Ramadan Sunni activists mostly from the northern provinces along with the help from local Sunnis invaded the Shiite area, attacked and killed over 800 Shiite civilians.

March 19, 2005

At the village, Fatehpur  in the province Baluchistan 50 shiites were killed and 100 injuries due to a bomb explosion.

October 1-7, 2004

During Friday prayers at Sialkot, Punjab there were two bomb blasts in a Shiite mosque killing 71 people and causing 200 injuries.

March 2, 2004

March 24 police officers attacked Shiite civilians on the day of Ashura. Ashura is a significant day for Shiites, it is the tragedy one of the most important figures in history (Husayn the grandson of their last prophet). Due to the importance of the day there were large gatherings outside. The attack caused 47 deaths and 150 injuries.

January 11,1998 The Mominpura Graveyard Massacre

Twenty five Shiites killed along with fifty injured on Sunday, January 11, 1998 in the Mominpura cemetery by the LEJ. This event caused outrage and resulted in more firing and 78 deaths, 80 injured and 150 other deaths throughout the country.

Three day riot

In July, 1992 a three day riot erupted in the National West Frontier Province, mainly in the city Peshawar. Both Sunni and Shiites involved were faced with deaths and many casualties.

Forgotten Revolution- Shi'ite Genocide: Who is responsible?

The death toll of Shiite civilians has risen to 20,00 and possibly more but who is responsible for this? The answer is, two well known organizations such as Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (militant organization) primarily located in the city of Punjab, their main goal is to establish a primarily Sunni state in Pakistan, and the ASWJ a Pakistani organization their goal is to establish Pakistan without the influence of Shiites. Just like any other organization to work there is money involved. Funding for these organizations comes from two sources, mainly the government of Saudi Arabia. Additional funding is derived from wealthy supporters in Pakistan.

Forgotten Revolution- Shi'ite Genocide: How did it begin?

Pakistan a country located in South Asia faced a major issue in 1963. Men in military uniforms stopped a bus and identified the Shiite bus passengers traveling the bus and without any reasoning began to kill all of the Shi'ite civilians on the bus in the city, Quetta. Shiites are the second largest sect of Islam after Sunni, Muslims. The amount of Shiite deaths that have been reported is 20,000 (many killings are not recorded).
