My Negasonic Teenage Warhead cosplay turned out amazingly! I ended up winning a judge’s choice award as well as the peoples’ choice award at CONvergence!

Unfortunately I don’t know if I’ll really be back here since I want to start working more on art and networking that, as well as my other cosplays. (My nextone is Junkrat. Help. Junkers have taken over my life.)

I’d love to come back soon but I don’t have a huge muse for Wanda much. I’ll probably have to see Apocalypse again.

ok i need some happy mutant hcs after reblogging a bunch of meta about mutant oppression so:

mutant-centric beauty parlors/hair salons that are trained and skilled in working with all different kinds of skin/scales/fur

mutant teen support groups where you can stay around as a volunteer as an adult that are ran in side houses by older charitable mutants. they have free snacks and papers of resources and can also offer a place to stay in emergencies or just hang out outside of check-in night. the mutants with licenses post their numbers up in case anyone needs help getting a ride

mutant clubs in high schools and colleges that set up their own dances in case the regular ones didn’t feel comfortable

symbols/colors/etc to represent mutants casually. colorful hair being very popular amongst mutants which started as a resistance when gts avoided dying their hair bc it ‘looked mutant’ and as a symbol of standing with their non-passing siblings if passing

mutant symbol stick-n-poke tattoos. the x logo, little wings, mouths with sharp teeth and forked tongues

dressing as favorite mutant activists/superheroes for protests
