So here’s an idea, will take a blonde ex-disney character, dye there hair dark, put them in a spin-off Archie comics series, have them playing emotionally damaged but still sweet muffin boys and bada bing bada boom we have a charcter everyone will love. Which we do.

theres literally no reason for cheryls serpent jacket to be red and different from everyone elses like i get its her ~aesthetic~ and i know riverdale doesnt give a shit about properly portraying gang life and gang culture but like the fact you have her even joining in the first place when she’s a blood descendant of the family who slaughtered the tribe that started the serpents AND now you wanna paint her as this special outlier like…. the entire thing is just a slap in the face to so many fucking people but hey, cheryl gets a leather jacket and a girlfriend so lol its all good!
