"Moira! What the hell did you do?!" Each step she took had an odd clacking sound, like nails upon the tiled floor. Upon reaching the scientist's room, Angela knocked loudly on the door. "Unlock your door this instant, I need to talk with you face to face!" It wasn't even entirely like she was mad, the doctor was more absolutely shocked than anything, but it still wasn't a good thing. (For bird Mercy)

Moira opened the door, standing in the frame with a clipboard and her favorite pen. "Yes, Angela?" Moira quickly looked her up and down, and then smiled. "Fascinating!" She eagerly scribbled on her paper before looking up once more. "Would you believe that this was a complete accident? The rabbits all tested fine, no major side effects at all!" Just then, a flying object crashed into the wall beside the scientist. She crouched down and held up a winged rabbit.

"Oh," she said simply, examining the thing. She cast a smile at the doctor. "Science is amazing, isn't it?" She idly stroked the rabbit, eyeing Angela once more. "Well, do you want it fixed or are you ok?"

“Your thoughts and feelings have been noted,” Moira said, dropping into her desk chair with a smile. “Now if that is all, Angela, I’ve missed months of science, and the world needs progress. The world needs innovation. The world needs me!” She reached into her desk and pulled out a small pill bottle, tossing it to the doctor. “These pills should stop any possible side effects, with no risk to you, save for a small chance your hair might turn blue for a while.”

Moira paused for a moment, lost in thought, then smiled up at Angela. “If you could change any aspect of your appearance at will, hair or eye color, height and weight, anything at all, would you do it?” She picked up her clipboard, smiling expectantly. “Purely hypothetically, of course.”

[ ╬ ]      “I do wish you’d pull your head from your own ass, but I suppose that would be anatomically impossible to accomplish seeing how they’re both attached. Blue though, really? You know I’m more about summer colors…” Catching the bottle, she glared down at it with suspicion, wondering if that truly was to be the only side effect. If so, Angela wouldn’t hesitate to take it. For the time being, she would pocket the bottle and inspect the contents later when she had a free moment.

[ ╬ ]      “Knowing you, hypothetical questioning means you’re going to attempt it if I answer correctly. So, I think I look fine the way I am, thank you. Any taller and I’d hit my head on the door frame, a feeling I’m certain you’re all too familiar with, any lighter and I’d be unhealthily underweight. Any more, and… well, I couldn’t fly. Figure out how to give me real working wings and we’ll talk.” Another jest, Angela not taking into the account that Moira might take her suggestion literally.

Moira grinned, already writing furiously on a new piece of paper. "Always a pleasure seeing you, Angela, now please go." She pointed to the open door. "And close it behind you." She looked up, a slightly evil look in her eye. "I will need birds." She scurried off to her work tables, rifling through various drawers and pulling out dangerous looking equipment. "And I'll need more rabbits. And some sharper tools..." She cast a quick smirk at Angela. "There is so much science to be done, Angela." She looked back down at her supplies, then ran out of the room. "Goodbye!" And she disappeared around the corner, the last glimpse the tail of her lab coat whipping after her.

“Oh, please, Angela,” Moira said, exasperation heavy in her voice. “Honestly, if you were in danger, you would already have… How did you say it? ‘Kicked the bucket’.” She rounded the corner, heading towards her office. “Subject 31 seems to have been an anomaly, as you and I, as well as 47 other rabbits, are all fine.”

She opened the door to her office, striding inside with the doctor hot on her heels. “So, as you can see,” she concluded, pointing to the trashed vials and shredded paperwork. “I have concluded that human hibernation is too unpredictable to safely implement, and have therefore scrapped the project.” She patted Angela’s blonde hair. “So don’t you worry your pretty head, doctor,” she added, smirking. “I’ll find another project to occupy myself soon enough. And next time I suppose i can inform you if I use you as a subject.”

[ ╬ ]      “Would it not be strange on its own for it to have not affected me, then? My rate of sleep hasn’t changed, unlike yours, and clearly I’m still alive. Wait… yeah, still here.” Even in the middle of stomping her way toward Moira’s office, Angela was capable of checking for her pulse and locating it within a few moments. Her teeth snapped up toward the hand as it touched her head, no real intent to bite the taller woman but to prove her point that the doctor was furious about this new finding.

[ ╬ ]      “Suppose? You’re lucky I have no say in the matter or you’d be out of here faster than I can blink. If I am ever to be a part of your horrid experiments, I’ll be damned if it’s against my will once more. I don’t have any intent to agree in the near future, but if you should find it oh so important, I’m going to need every single minute detail of what your plans are.” Taking in a deep breath, her arms crossed, regaining her composure as she felt her anger calm. Moira better be right, it’d be a big mistake should Angela suffer negative side effects because of her reckless behavior.

Moira jotted down a quick note. “Before my hibernation experiment had… Lets say ‘less than desirable’ results,” she said, smiling kindly at the doctor. “I had nearly perfected the process. To have a second test subject besides myself, I slipped a few drops of the formula into your daily coffee.” Moira waved a dismissive hand. “I figured you would be fine, having seen several rabbits recover with minimal side effects.”

She laughed nervously, looking down at a new page on her clipboard. “Unfortunately, subject 31 suffered cardiac arrest and died in his sleep. But when I was going to come check on you, the drug I had already injected myself with took effect, and i passed out.” She stood, tucking her board inder her arm. “Glad to see you’re still around to impede scientific progress with your silly morals, and I look forward to more breakthroughs with you.” She smirked as she turned to leave. “Or maybe without you,” she muttered, opening the door to leave.

[ ╬ ]      “Oh, yeah. That’s understandable.” Angela was silent for a moment, eyes glancing down at the desk below her. Fingers gently tapped against it, before said hand slammed roughly upon the wood.

[ ╬ ]      “You did what?! O’Deorain, out of all the irresponsible things you’ve put not only me but the entirety of Overwatch through, this has to be one of the worst! You could’ve killed me, you might be killing me! Why the hell would you…. mein gott, how much of that stuff did you give me?” Oh no Moira, you’re not just walking away from her this time. Even if she left the room, Angela was quickly on her feet and tailing the taller woman, anger sounding off with each step. If it wasn’t her pacifism, Moira would have a broken jaw by now.

[ ╬ ]      “I haven’t slept yet, am I supposed to expect a total shutdown sometime soon, that I just pass out without warning?”

[ ╬ ]      “Moira, I’m an angel, I can’t die.” A jest, rolling her eyes at her own words. Not a real angel, no, and definitely mortal. “Emotionally, you’re killing me as we speak… physically? I’m fine, alive and well. Why?”

"Angela?" Moira knocked on the door, entering before she was acknowledged. "Oh good, you're not busy." She pulled out her pen, a clipboard in her other hand. "I was hoping you would answer some questioms for me."

[ ╬ ]      “Moira? And here I thought you went and kicked the bucket, I haven’t seen you in quite some time. I suppose I have a moment to spare, though I can only wonder just what you’d have to ask me.” You’ll have to forgive her for being suspicious, when O’Deorain comes knocking it never appears to be for something normal. With no given time to approve or deny the other’s entrance to her office, Angela simply gestured toward a nearby chair, her free hand propping her chin upon the desk.

"Thank you," Moira said, sitting down at the offered chair, tappong her board with her pen. "Firstly, and most importantly, are you dead or dying?"

Moira woke with a start, running her hand through her messy hair and stretching her arms above her head. With a massive yawn, she sighed, looking around her dark lab with bleary eyes. "My goodness," she mumbled, her mouth dry. She reached for a clipboard, grabbing her trusty pen and clicking it, the sound violent in the stuffy office. "Human hibernation: no."

Moira smirked. “Observe,” she said, going around the desk and pulling out a syringe. She pulled the fur back on the nape of the dogs neck, then slowly injected the bright orange fluid. Once it was fully drained, she removed the needle and stepped back. “Now, Better Angela,” she spoke with a forceful tone. “Tell doctor Ziegler how you feel.”

“Yes, mistress,” said the dog. She looked at the medic. “I feel fine,” she spoke, a little hard to understand. “A little hungry.” She looked at Moira expectantly, who gave the dog a small treat.

“Good girl,” said Moira with a large grin. She turned to Angela expectantly.

[ ╬ ]      “While indeed, I may applaud you for this discovery, I must ask you two simple questions.” A brow was raised in the dog’s direction, mainly wondering what the purpose of this achievement was in the first place. However, first and foremost, Angela had to know two specific things. One of which absolutely comes from the act of being petty.

[ ╬ ]      “Might I ask once more just what the fuck you named this animal….? I suppose the question would be more so what gave you the gall to insult me like that. The second…. just how many dogs have you tried this little experiment on before this one?” No matter what breakthrough it had, Angela was far more than just suspicious. There just wasn’t any possible way Moira succeeded on her first attempt of this, she knew the scientist better than that.

"I have decided to name her Better Angela," Moira said, a slight smirk on her face. "Not that the bar was particularly high on that title."

She looked over at a nearby door. "As for how many tries this took, you'll find your answer in that closet," she added, pointing dismissively. "If you wouldn't mind, please have a specialist team come dispose of the remains. If my work fell into the wrong hands, it could be disastrous."

She smiled at the doctor, grabbing her clipboard and picking up her favorite pen, clicking it in her hand. "But enough of silly morals and petty insults." She sat in her chair, looking up at Angela. "What do you think, Lesser Angela?"

[ ╬ ]      “Hey, easy! Like I said, I’m sure it’s not going anywhere Moira, there’s no need to rush. I’m walking as fast as I’d like to.” A slightly faster pace than usual, seeing as how the scientist was oh so excited to show her…. well, whatever it was. Upon practically being shoved into Moira’s office, the doctor raised a fairly unamused brow at the sight, shifting her gaze back to the woman.

[ ╬ ]      “….. You dragged me all the way from my office…. to see a dog? Moira, I like animals as much as the next person, but you always have some sort of creature in here. This isn’t really a surprise, you know.” Well, now she’s just more annoyed. What was so special about this?

Moira smirked. "Observe," she said, going around the desk and pulling out a syringe. She pulled the fur back on the nape of the dogs neck, then slowly injected the bright orange fluid. Moira burst into Angela's office, panting heavily and a bit red in the face. "Angela, come quickly!" She motioned to the doctor, a massive smile on the Irish woman's face. "I have made a marvelous discovery!"

[ ╬ ]      “Oh, for the love of God Moira…. I’m sure you have. Must I really come see? I’m sure it can wait unless it’s really oh so important.” However, after having given off a low sigh of slight annoyance, Angela stood up from where she sat, giving off a gesture that was assumed to say ‘well, go on’. She really didn’t want to be bothered with the other’s nonsense, but it was better to play along supposedly.

Moira excitedly scurried back to her lab with Angela in tow. When they arrived at the door, her grin got even bigger, stretching from ear to ear.

Moira turned to the doctor. "Prepare to be amazed!" She opened the door and pushed Angela inside, quickly following after her and shutting the door. The only thing of note was a perfectly average looking dog sitting on the table, wagging it's tail.

Amelie looks up from her rifle, the weapon in several pieces. “You’ve already interrupted me. So, not at all Moira.” She sets down her barrel cleaning tool, and turns her chair to face the newcomer.

Moira pulls a clipboard out from behind her back, flipping through some papers before examining one. “According to this here,” she said, her eyes quickly scanning through the text. “The super secret, extremely dangerous serum I injected into you in your sleep is apparently deadly.” She looked up at Amelie with a smile. “A simple antidote is all that’s needed, but unfortunately we don’t have one ready.” She pulled a rather large needle from her coat pocket. “I’m going to need a blood sample.”

“Wait what?” If her rifle were together, it would have been brought to bear against the Irish woman. “Don’t ever do that again, or you will sleep. permanently.” She rises from her desk, approaching Moira and snatching the needle from her hand. The sniper quickly jabs the needle into her arm, crimson fluid filling the glass cylinder. “Best get on the antidote, If I die, you’re coming with me.” She removes the needle from her arm, using her fingers to apply pressure to the area as she returns to her desk.

Moira took the needle, examining it before looking back at the woman. "The antidote should be ready in 5 hours, at the most." She went to leave the room before casting a smirk over her shoulder. "Maybe you should think about who you are threatening, Lacroix." As she departed, she threw her hand up in a half hearted wave. "See you soon."

Moira cocked an eyebrow, lifting the green bunny in her hands and holding it at arm's length the study it. "Simply fascinating," she muttered to herself. She placed Porridge back in his tank, quickly scribbling on her notepad before turning to Gabriel with a sweet smile. "Gabriel, would you mind terribly to fetch me more rabbits?" She patted the tank behind her. "Porridge here will be studied further, but I simply must have more assistants if I am to continue my work."
