Eridians, on average, are 50 cm (19.7") tall. Adrian is a tall Eridian, they're huge! They're the equivalent of a 6'5" (195.5cm) human being!
Rocky, however, is shown in the movie to be closer to 80 cm (31.5"). This is astronomically large. This is the equivalent of an alien's first contact with humanity being a guy who's casually NINE FOOT ONE (280cm).
Anyway, this is my "Eridian Height Chart", enjoy.
you win, i've fallen for the smaller adrian propaganda!
I LOVE the soulsong au and i love the fact it implies when Grace sends back the beetles there’s definitely a smug selfie of him and Rocky, “Guess who was real the whole time 😎”
Grace thought it was weird when a human Rocky showed up, but that was just the start of the problems.
Another man roaming around the Mary, calling himself Simon, he's the only survivor of his mission, and trying his best to figure out why the stars are dimming-
Then the blood moon appeared on the radar, and the submarine had three very familiar looking survivors on it. They're (probably) from a different world, tensions aboard the Mary have never been higher-
The three eridians, however, are having a great time.
These three eridians think that the humans are stupid stupid stupid. They'll handle the situation, actually. Humans can be drama drama drama over there they're actually going to get some work done.

"Jody these little assholes STEAL my goddamn LUNCH! They take the tomatoes out of my sandwich before I get sent back. So yeah, I need another lunch, thank you."

"He's not happy to be here, calls himself Six, but Jody I swear to god the guy's gotten out of the xenon-whatever cuffs like eighteen times its' crazy. If he could survive in the Erid atmosphere I think he'd have already escaped."

"He's got my face, Jody. This is right out of a horror movie. oh Jody please. I won't push you away anymore I don't care how much I'm in pain. You have to believe me. Please help me."

Colt Seavers had a bad fall, broke his back, broke his spirit. He's pissed off and he's furious that he missed something in one of his stunts that shattered his spine-
Well, he was mad, now he's just confused. That guy has his face. That guy has his fucking face! Rock things are singing to him! What is happening!? You want to clone his organs?! Why!?
Even on the other end of the universe, to a guy that has his exact same face, Colt is still just a throwaway extra, using his body as a backup leaky space blob.

"Second Engineer Log, Rocky, reporting. Am I reporting? Who knows if I'm real? For centuries I've been told I'm not. Who knows? I'm starting to loose track of it myself- I'm real. I'm real. I'm real- Aren't I?"

"-Rocky is strangely adamant about the fact that he'll always be there, in the end. He might take a while, he might be slower, but he'll get to me at the end of the day. I assume that this is due to him loosing his crew, and having an intense alien mixed case of separation anxiety and PTSD. It will be noted, however, that while the author does have 'doctor' in his title it's not that kind of doctor, and he does not have any ability to diagnose."

"Cheated? Professor I'd never! I studied for this test! That's why I did so well this time compared to the rest of the semester! Everything on that test came from my own brain!"

"Dear Journal, I've got more 'information' on the hallucination that lives in my head. He says one thing, but is another. This is pretty typical of a hallucination, but odd for this specific one. He's never lied to me before. He must have grown with me as I aged up. I'll talk more with my doctor at our next appointment."

"Sorry, Stratt, I'll be sure to double check my work to make sure my imaginary hallucination base six number system doesn't clog up the works of the rest of the scientists here on board."
