Criteria for choosing a supplier in the market of equipment for water treatment and water purification
The criteria for choosing a supplier of equipment for industrial water and wastewater treatment for key (main) consumers were determined on the basis of information obtained during legendary interviews with employees of equipment manufacturers in the market. The interviewed experts answered the question about what parameters their customers pay attention to during the preliminary work, which precedes the start of the equipment delivery.
In this section of the report, the specified method is the only possible one since only real manufacturing companies operating in the market in real-time are able to relevantly answer the question of what is important for buyers at the stage of choosing a supplier of the equipment under study.
In the course of the study, the criteria for selecting STAINLESS STEEL FACTORY suppliers from companies that are the end-users of equipment for industrial water and wastewater treatment systems were determined and analyzed (the criteria for selecting suppliers from distributors were not analyzed during the project).
However, it is possible to single out the criteria that a significant part of consumers pays attention to when working with manufacturers and suppliers of equipment for industrial water treatment and wastewater treatment systems.
The presented criteria are not ranked since it is impossible to make a gradation of the importance of the criteria on the market; one can only single out a number of criteria that are important for a significant part of consumers on the market when choosing an equipment supplier.
The ability of the supplier to solve the specific problem of building a water and wastewater treatment system according to the client's requirements
This is the basic criterion for choosing a supplier, with the help of which the mass of suppliers on the market is ranked into two groups: those who theoretically can fulfil the task necessary for the client, as well as those suppliers who, for one reason or another, cannot solve the tasks that are set before them.
This criterion for choosing a supplier is found in all product markets; in particular, it is relevant where the sale of equipment is accompanied by the provision of complex engineering services for its design, delivery, installation, commissioning, etc. The Russian market for equipment for industrial water and wastewater treatment systems is one of such markets. This criterion in the studied market is relevant and important for absolutely all consumers.
Supplier's ability to operate in the region where the client is located / supplier's location
This criterion is one of the special cases of the first presented criterion for choosing a supplier. However, employees of the surveyed manufacturing companies single out it separately since consumers in the market very often pay attention to it.
The importance of this criterion does not mean that consumers in the market choose suppliers only from their own region; in some regions of GREY WATER TREATMENT PLANT SUPPLIERS IN SAUDI ARABIA, there are simply no suppliers of equipment for industrial water treatment and wastewater treatment systems. However, for many customers, it is important that this or that supplier has its representatives in the region where the client is located (this is always an advantage), has experience in implementing projects in this region, and, most importantly, was able to ensure the delivery of the necessary equipment to this region as well as the delivery and work of specialists who will provide services for the plan, installation and adjustment of the supplied equipment.

This criterion is also one of the possible special cases of the criterion according to which the supplier should be able to solve the specific problem of the client in the market. According to the interviewed experts, it is important for some part of the consumers on the market that the supplier's assortment initially contains all the necessary equipment that is required for the project implementation. At the same time, most of the customers are sympathetic to situations when a particular supplier for the implementation of a project uses not only their own equipment but also equipment from other manufacturing companies.
An important role is played by the supplier's ability not only to ensure the supply of equipment but also to provide comprehensive services related to this equipment: design of water treatment and water treatment systems, equipment installation, equipment commissioning, equipment maintenance, training of the buying company specialists, etc. There are practically no companies on the market that are engaged only in the production (or sale) of equipment for industrial water treatment and wastewater treatment systems and, at the same time, do not provide their customers with engineering services that accompany the supply of this equipment. Clients are usually interested in one supplier (one manufacturer) in a complex to implement a project to create industrial water and wastewater treatment system: from design to final installation of equipment and its start-up. In many cases, the possibility of complex project implementation was the very parameter by which the clients chose the equipment supplier.
