Sighing, Fortress Maximus runs a servo down his face. This is getting absurd.

"The only 'beef' between myself, and Whirl, is my guilt. I hurt him, unreasonably, and the damage he sustained was no laughing matter. Maximus thought he'd heard every stupid rumour around, but this one? This one was, without a doubt, probably the stupidest rumour he'd heard in a long time.

"I won't deny that Ultra Magnus' height is a benefit, however, you all seem to forget the mech behind the suit. Minimus Ambus. No matter if he's Magnus or Minimus, I love the mech for WHO he is, not for height. This is false."

Rung has to clamber up onto a table and shout to make himself heard. “Maximus! Max, it’s alright. Overlord’s not here, someone was just trying to start problems. Here, now, shhhh. It’s alright.”

Attempting to shoot at the fleeing form of Jack, the Duly Anointed officer doesn't immediately hear Rung until his name is called out a second time. His helm snaps towards Rung, optics momentarily unfocused until he's assured there's no Overlord.

Quietly, Maximus lowers his gun, optics darting between Rung, and where the stranger had fled with a... Human. He groans, placing the weapon down when he realizes that he reacted like that.

"...I'm-... I'm alright. I'm... Okay. Forgive me, Rung. I just—." He shakes his head, deciding it's better to sit on the ground, for now. "I-... Sorry. I’m sorry..."

Instantly, Fort Max is freezing up, servos aggressively twitching.

Overlord. He swear he heard someone say Overlord, and now, he’s storming towards where he heard the call, practically ripping a gun off of the wall as he charges, anger instantly taking hold of the behemoth.

He fires the gun into a wall, shouting.

“WHERE?! WHERE IS THAT MISERABLE FUCKING BASTARD?! I’LL GUT HIM, HERE AND NOW!”
