sirius’s #mancrushmondays are always james, every fucking week, no comment, just reposts of james’s selfies with #mcm. james’s are always different soccer players (this is obviously a muggle au) because he’s too embarrassed to put sirius on his #mcm

sirius just flat-out doesn’t do #womancrushwednesday but james does and it’s lily some weeks and, like, more soccer players the other weeks to try to keep it looking casual. lily ignores every single post regardless

there are just so many discussions happening in fandom that dont need to be had imo! like, why are we debating if petunia dursley could have been redeemed or not? why are we debating if severus snape “deserved” lily or not? why are we debating if peter pettigrew is a decent human being or not? these are all answerable, without contradiction or ambiguity, by simply reading the books

my official stance on peter pettigrew: yes, he is a marauder, obviously, im fucking tired of having this be brought up as if it’s still a contentious issue - but it’s literally canon that sirius and james didn’t jive with him as much as they did with each other. we should all know by now that the marauders are a hierarchical group with james and sirius at the top, closer than any other combination of the four, bar none; and remus and peter at the bottom, with remus having closer ties to james and sirius than peter has. let’s also remember that it’s canon that peter is only there at all because of remus, who convinced them to let him in the group out of pity. this is KEY to understanding why peter was chosen as the secret-keeper. like, any other interpretation is just not feasible? it absolutely wasn’t out of trust - they chose him (and sirius mentioned this in the books) because no one would ever suspect that james would’ve picked him. it was sirius’s idea. they planned on using their weakest link on purpose to throw the death eaters off their trail. nothing more than that. also, peter killed 15+ people (the + is guaranteed), so. tl;dr: i dont like peter pettigrew
