El Picacho

Pertenece a la Montaña de la Tigra, de la cual el Picacho es un ramal​ esta montaña es conocida popularmente como "El Picacho" y ha sido afamado por poseer la mejor vista de la capital hondureña. Esta montaña está adornada a sus faldas con numerosas viviendas capitalinas, de todas las clases sociales.

If you're reading this, please I BEG YOU TO REBLOG! my country Honduras was completely destroyed by hurricane eta. The night of November 5 the Sula valley was severely flooded by the overflows of various rivers, there are approximately 4 cities completely underwater and numerous small villages i can't even count. Even the airport of my city San Pedro Sula is underwater. Aproximately 300,000 families lost everything they had, there are hundres of people going missing, our social medias are flooded with posts of people desperately searching for their family members since communication has been lost due to the floods and lanslides on roads. And almost 200 people have been found dead including drowned kids. Our indigenous people have lost all of their crops they live of. They have nothing left and up to this day there's still people trapped in the roofs of their homes waiting to be rescued. The government has abandoned us ever since covid came into our country. And literally we have no one, it's only us helping each other with what we have. Hundreds of hondurans have shown their golden heart by providing shelter to those who have nowhere to go and lost everything, you have no idea how much i've cried seeing how with the little we have, we've tried to help the most. This is a third world contry, victims of a narco state and a corrupted government, we have gone through so much, fought for too long for the justice we have never gotten. So please, spread awareness, i beg you to do so.

🇭🇳PLEASE HELP HONDURAS🇭🇳

After an extremely difficult year around the world, Honduras and other Central American countries have just been hit by Hurricane Eta, which has been hugely compared to the destructive Hurrincane Mitch that struck Honduras 22 years ago, leaving thousands of families without homes.

The vast majority of the Honduran population lives in extreme poverty. Thousands of families have completely lost their homes and are now displaced with nowhere to go. There are several organizations and companies doing what they can to help, offering places to stay, collecting clothing, mattresses, coverings, etc. for the people to stay away from the cold, and also personal protection gear, face masks, hand sanitizer etc. because we can’t forget about COVID in the midst of this dissaster.

The truth is Honduras doesn’t have the resources to help it’s people, we’re doing what we can with what we have but we need outside help! If you can please donate! anything helps, it doesn’t have to be much a dollar or a pound is enough to pay for a meal!! if you can’t donate please spread this around with your friends, family, on social media, etc.

Villanueva, Cortes: Casas sumergidas hasta el techo en las aguas del río ulua, el cual se desbordó tras 2 días de fuertes lluvias.

San Pedro Sula, Cortes: El río chamelecón se desbordó y habitantes del barrio del mismo nombre evacuan la zona en la madrugada del 05 de noviembre.

Tegucigalpa, Francisco Morazán: Rio Choluteca sobrepasando su nivel de agua, provocando las primeras inundaciones en la capital

La Ceiba, Atlantida: El potente caudal del río cangregal provoca el colapso del puente saopín

Tela, Atlantida: La cruz roja hondureña rescata a familia en riesgo para trasladarles a un albergue.
