Discover new project by Princess Hijab: " The Homeless Corner" and the exhibition Goddess Clap Back at the Cue Art Foundation.
Princess hijab is back with a new project called the Homeless Corner. She will be also presenting her work and method of hijabizing through workshops at the CUE art foundation during the Goddess Clap Back show. Here's some words from the artist about this new project the Homeless Corner":
Back in 2010/11, some magazines and blogs published pictures about my work on street art. Three years later I’m on a brand new project in which I really believe. This time I make it happen on the street and not in the subway like I used to. In fact my character has gone up from the basements of the city to the surface in the purpose of exploring new territories. Therefore, I’ve chosen to work for with the homeless people. Being immersed in their environment on a regular basis has been my position from the start because I thought it was the best way to understand how they live. It made me discover lots of things about them and about myself too.
