You may be depressed at the thought of your partner breaking up with you. You may be depressed if they break up with you. It may make you cry, make you sad, make you angry, etc. You may, if you suffer from a mental illness, even have suicidal thoughts after a breakup. None of these things are your partner’s responsibility to handle. It is never okay to pressure someone to stay with you because of your mental illness or tell them you’ll kill yourself if they leave you. Your mental illness is your responsibility, and your partner does not have to stay with you to make sure you’re “safe”.

Let’s talk about “Dead Spots”! 🌲

◌ For a long time there has been discussions whether towns have the so called “dead spots” (spots in which shrubs and plants/trees can’t grow).

◌ This is false, there’s no dead spots in New Leaf. If there was, hackers wouldn’t be able to place trees there in the Save Editor.

❓So why won’t my tree or bush grow? 🌀Bushes won’t grow if there is more than 12 trees/bushes in a row within a 7x7 square (3 tiles in each direction). 🌀You have planted pine trees on the southern part of the map. Pine trees only grow on the north parts. A good way to know if you’re far enough North, is use the arrow in the middle of your map as a guide! 🌀The item you planted was too close to the cliff, a building or the river, where it’s not natural for it to grow. If it’s too close to a building, it won’t get any sunlight.

◌ Dead spots are only a myth. Sometimes it takes several tries, but remember, without hacking you cannot place lots of bushes in a row, one or more of them will die!
