They waived Faegin to make room for another point guard.

This move definitely came from KP saying she was injured bc she playing so many minutes back to back. Obviously they need KP but she basically 35+ mins a night, they have her playing PG to rest Wheeler bc they don't totally trust Gray and definitely don't trust Latson, with these 4 games in 7 days stretch they keep going on they need another PG. I think they will eventually cut Latson for Kate then bring Latson on DP.

It does have SOMETHING to do with Kate though, because in that press conference she talks about wanting gray, park, and Latson to not have to play out of position, which would be the 2/3, and those are Kate’s positions.

If you think Latson and Gray can play the 3, hate to break it to you, but they’re PGs. They don’t even have the height to play the 2 😂

after practice today kate said that her knee is feeling good, so at least that's positive. wonder if she'll play sunday or if they make her sit out. she also said lynn's got her playing the four. guess they really need her on defense since no one else wants to box out.

Is there a link to this? Also Kate playing the 4 makes sense why they waived Faegin. Kate can technically play the 2-4 and that makes her way more valuable to them, which is why I think they will still upgrade her at some point.

Also Feagin has been dealing with injury so thats why they waived her right now for Williams, they will most likely waive Latson for Kate. I was thinking they will waive Cannon but I think Latson is gonna go bc they dont need four short pgs on their roster. The Williams signing is worse for Latson than it is for Kate.

Latson could be next to go, as you pointed out, that’s a lot of PGs.

I get they want another pg but Williams is only averaging .5 assists in 14 minutes, the fact that they already prefer her as Latson as a backup pg is concerning for Latson
