“According to legend, A true alpha obtains their power through the strength of their character. They do not have to kill or be born into an alpha blood line.” Or so that was what he remember from his lessons. Once again he nodded in response to her words. If he did not need to really speak then Cedric was prone to just using his body language to convey what he meant. “Cut ties?” His eyes narrowed in suspicion. “If he is loyal to his pack that is another story.” Cedric could not fault him for being loyal to his kind, but if he thought that he was no longer tied to their pack he was mistaken. “I will speak to him on this matter when I see him.”
“He was apparently turned.” The fact that someone, or something had chose a turned wolf to turn into a True Alpha baffled her. The fact that these wolves were safe enraged her, but.. well she would get to that eventually. “I believe he’s being loyal, he did seem remorseful when I suggested he didn’t want anything to do with us.” Still it would be better if Cedric spoke to him. If anything Isaac had started to understand who and what she was, which was wild and unruled by normal social etiquette. “Have you seen any hunters since we arrived?”
“I don’t know. It smelled like mud… Maybe some wolfsbane got mixed in, or something. Either way, hives suck. I don’t want them again.”
“Maybe your nose is just broken or something.” Sighing Emmelina looked wistfully at the relaxing women all around them. “Are you sure? What if I promise you won’t get hives?” Then again maybe it was the stuff they used in this town. “Do you have a large population of hunters around?” She wouldn’t be surprised if they spiked everything with Wolfsbane and if so it would be better to find out now, rather than later.
“The last time I tried any sort of ‘spa treatment’ I literally broke out in hives. I am a werewolf. That should not have happened.”
“Really? What did they use bee’s?”
Shaking his head, Cedric replied with a grin,“I never said that you were dumb, Emmelina.” He’d be a fool to think lowly of his sister. If anything she was more clever than most people realized. “Ah, now it makes sense as to why Derek was protective of him. A True Alpha should make things more interesting.” His eyes narrowed when Emmelina looked down. “There are many people who do not even know of our existence or the existence of different types of wolves.“ That was his way of telling his sister that she didn’t have to feel foolish for not knowing, but he wasn’t much of the comfort with words type. “Derek is standoffish,” he confirmed with a nod. “But tell me about Isaac. Has something happened?”
Emmelina smothered the grin that started to spread on her face at the small amount of praise from her brother. Instead she moved forward pretending as if she hadn’t heard. Cedric had been the victim of her pranks when they were young and he knew how wiley she could be. “I don’t know much about them. Only that they’re supposed to be ‘good’ whatever that means.” Emmelina shrugged before nodding. “It seems as if Beacon Hills is home to several creatures that were merely myth then.” She paused thinking over Isaac. “He was reluctant to meet, and even more reluctant to speak to me about the pack here. I’m afraid he wants to cut ties with us, or may even be regretting the choice to tell us about the friends he has here.”
“Take it however you want. But I’m still not doing that.”
“It makes your skin feel amazing, and I swear aren’t you a werewolf? You’re not a werepussy are you?”
He only nodded in response to Emmelina to show that she had a point. At the mention of other scents and supernaturals, Cedric sat up completely. He frowned when he noticed how troubled Emmelina looked, but waited until she finished before speaking. “A banshee, an odd scent and coyote…” He repeated under his breath. “I was not aware coyote shifters were more than just myths, but it would suit us well to keep an eye on her and the others. “ His eyebrows furrowed, but he kept his eyes locked with his sister. He would not look away and show any kind of weakness when his sister was so troubled. “We will have to learn more about her and the others. Learn who they are with and what they are doing in this town.”
Emmelina sighed her eyes rolling. “Do you think I’m that dumb?” She shook her head a small smile appearing on her face. “They’re with this Scott McCall. Derek Hale, one of the werewolves here, called him a True Alpha, and so did the banshee, Lydia.” Emmelina paused looking down. “I didn’t think they existed.” It was more of a mutter. Looking up she bit her lip. “They... they all seem rather safe. So far the only person that has been on guard around me was Derek Hale, and well Isaac.”
“Tch. No one in these woods would stand a chance against me and the sun is providing me with it’s warmth even as I lay here.” He had yet to met the other alpha and doubted that anyone in this town could take him by surprise. Rolling into his side, Cedric propped himself up and looked over at his sister. “People? There’s more you wish to say.” He didn’t have to question her, he could tell from her pause there was more to what she had already said.
Emmelina raised an eyebrow at her brothers arrogance but ended up shrugging. It was true the wolves here didn’t seem as if they would present much of a threat after all. “Yes but if you fall asleep you won’t be able to enjoy it,” she couldn’t help but point it out. Running her fingers through the small patch of grass she was seated on she shrugged once again. “I met a girl, she smelled odd. I wasn’t able to place it though.” It bugged her that she hadn’t recognized the scent. “There’s also a banshee, and some other kind of shifter. I think she said she was a coyote.” Looking up she met his eyes, her own troubled. “I didn’t know there were such things, Cedric.” Emmelina didn’t like being at a disadvantage.
Cedric resisted the urge to roll his own eyes in response and instead closed them. “What if I was just about to?”It wasn’t a complete lie since he had phrased it as a question, but he still had no plans of actually falling asleep so early in the day. He just wanted to bug his sister back. “Did this town bring you that much trouble already?”
“If you fall asleep in an unknown wood you deserve what’s coming to you.” She snickered at the thought of her brother just laying down for a nap. “Besides it’s gorgeous out.” The sun was special to them and she wouldn’t want to waste a minute in it. “No, actually. It’s been rather dull. There are a fair amount of... people around though.”
“No, but I would give you a perfect score on a sanity test either.”
“Excuse me? I’m debating whether or not I should be offended.”
“Do you have any proof that it will be fun, and not traumatizing? Or are you just guessing?”
“I did it and I don’t look traumatized do I?”
“I don’t care how long you stare at me, there’s not a chance in hell that I’m agreeing to that.”
“C’mon it’d be sooo fun. Just try it.”
“By all means, continue staring. But just be aware that I’ve noticed you for a while now.” Slowly Cedric opened his eyes and let out a low sigh. He thought that if he pretended to be asleep, the person who wandered into the clearing he was occupying would leave. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case.
“If I hadn’t wanted you too I wouldn’t have been so obvious.” Emmelina stepped out from the trees her eyes rolling in full little sister mode. It mainly meant being annoying really. “I knew you weren’t asleep,” shrugging she sat down beside him so that she was facing him. “It’s about time you showed up.”

Rebellion is when you look society in the face and say I understand who you want me to be but I’m going to show you who i really am.

“Sometimes people just want their business to be their business.”
“Because – like you said. I’m different. And I don’t know… Maybe I’m afraid that if I go into my full true form.. I won’t want to change back.”
“Well too bad for them then. I’m naturally curious.”
“Being different isn’t a bad thing! Well duh, why would you want to change back? It’s amazing being that strong,” pausing she slanted her eyes at Malia. “Of course there’s always the knowledge that you can turn when you want too and not because you have too.”
