Hey what kind of physics does Wally West do?

I’m guessing he does some kind of accelerator/high energy stuff for the memes, but it would lowkey be hilarious if he were actually something entirely unrelated to high speed like condensed matter.

Or god forbid cold atom physics/atom interferometry.

Lwk I'd argue he's more on the engineering side rather than straight up physics.

and even then it's like "basic knowledge".

(it's in air quotes because like 90% of the stuff the narrative claims is basic knowledge, but is not really)

Like here Wally uses his speed to take apart the anti-moniter at superspeed and collapse him( while the anti-moniter is not technically a machine he kinda is built and destroyed like one? the official logic is even stupider with something about him destabalizing anti-matter energy???)

although the same storyline also did have some actual physics with Wally failing at containing antimatter energy because the kind of vibrations he puts out to do so are deconstructive rather than constructive like Barry Allen who succeeded before. So...

There's lots more examples of him doing similar things to the first one, or even using the logic about destructive waves and vibrations to build or destroy things(I think there was whole plot line on that at one point).

He's somewhere in between someone who has good engineering knowledge and physics knowledge, and applies it well real life without being an expert.

If you want people who do more science-y physics you would probably want to look at Jay Garrick or Barry Allen, who were both full on scientists first and the Flash 2nd compared to Wally

There's also a really dumb panel I look to look at because bro started talking about stuff I was doing in my engineering class at a very coincidental timing?
