Off day under the bar
What should have been a fine day turned a bit sour when I wasn't hitting my numbers. A few days ago doing upper body, I was hitting it. My numbers were easy but today my high set was an ugly struggle, auxiliaries were weak and not fulfilling. Do you power through bad days or get in get out and make up for it the next? I refuse to sit there and do a sub par lift to say I did it, I'll get in there tomorrow, refreshed and get a prime lift not make one struggle a weekend of off lifts.
Time to start
This is a record of a soon to be Chiro and sooner to be husband who is getting back in shape for his future wife and further down the line family. I'll post my fitness rants advice and observations as well as the stuff I love from classic cars to big dogs and the occasional video of someone eating s&$! Doing something stupid
Goals
This morning I sat down(actually did it during a boring class) and wrote my bigger goals down. Core lift goals. Auxiliary lift goals. Weight goals. This afternoon I passed one. I did it because it was set. It was there taunting me and it made it not just an auxiliary to be done to burn time after a core lift but a mile stone. Needless to say I had to shoot a lot higher with my dip goal but to blow away what I thought was a decent place to begin felt amazing. 5 min is all it takes, GO.
