Get Lucky with 49.

Since Teni just turned 18 like year and a half ago, we realized we have never played the lottery. Magniola played Hot 'n Spicy(she won her dollar back) and Teni played Firefly 50(she won 4 dollars!!).

Kyle and Ariana who also played with us did not win anything... boo hoo.

MMMMMmmm. So we had the California Roll, which for those of you who don't know it is krab and avocado wrapped in rice.

It was alright. Could have been better.

Our friend Ariana tried sushi for the first time. Even though she spat it out immediately, we give her props for trying it because she HATES seafood and avocado.

Since we have never been to this certain museum, we decided why not? It was actually a fun experience, especially since our friend Kyle joined us. We learned a lot of stuff like what Oregon was like back in the prehistoric days and how cavemen and women used to hunt/gather food.

28. People watch for a few hours.

So we went people watching in the nice sun and we decided to take some pictures. Smh, trying to enjoy the sun and this woman has sun colored socks on with cargo capris.

So every year our school puts on a drag show called She Bang, this year we went and had sooo much fun. The Drag Queens were too funny.

Ok. weird story behind this one.

So we were walking through campus one day -on a suprisingly sunny day in Eugen- and we saw this group of people just walking, but the thing is they were walking extremely slow all in unison. We asked around tryin to find out what they were doing and no one knew! We even asked some guy who RANDOMLY decided to start filming it.

ANNNNNYYWAYY, we got tired of asking around and just joined in! At the end when it was all done, the group clapped for us and said that we were glad we joined their group.

Come to find out that the flashmob was done by interpretive dance class who was doing this for an experiment.

So yeah, it is kinda dated because we did this a ling time ago. It's just that we never got the time to put it up. Buuuuutttt anyways. February 27th we finally did it. We walked through the cemetery that night and it wasn't that bad.

The only sucky thing about it is that we live in Oregon and it just rained that night.

Buried Life... in our terms

So, in lieu of the new hit show that has recently premiered on MTV The Buried Life, we - Magniola and Teni- have been inspired to kind of follow in the same footsteps. You have all heard the saying life is too short to not live it the way you want. We too believe that, but more specifically, we believe that these four years at college are too short to not live the way we want. In high school, there were so many shows that glorified The College Experience. It made high school graduation and freshman orientation seem like they could not come fast enough. Then, when we finally got here, all we were doing was homework, essays, midterms and too many finals. Where was all the fun that they promised us on those TV shows?! Nowhere. You know why? Because we settled and expected too much. In all the sitcoms and programs we watched, those kids made a life for themselves, they made things happen. So now it’s our time. We can not just sit back and wait for the next Frat party to highlight our week, we need to make our own way. Give these remaining years a bit o’ spice because remember, “these four years at college are too short to not live the way we want” Here below, we started to compile a list of 76! (Yes, as random as it is) things we want to do before we graduate (June 2012). Keep in mind, we are college students with not a lot of funding and not as much transportation as we would like. So read some, do some, and contribute some. This is what we’ve got so far: 1.Go to a random wedding and make a toast. 2.Cake test for pretend wedding just to get free food. 3.Volunteer at a dog shelter. 4.Go to New York and be on the Wendy Williams show. 5.Road Trip to Cali <--- Teni has never been to California, pathetic. 6.Get our licenses <--We’re both 18+ and we don’t have them, even more pathetic. 7.Get a pen pal from somewhere in Europe. MMMMmmm a constant companion. 8.Get tats 9.GTL (Gym Tan Laundry) it up to a party. (If you watched Jersey Shore, you know) 10.Rent/Borrow bikes, take a long bike ride then go on a picnic, silverware and all. 12.Design our dresses for graduation. 13.Go to a concert, get up on stage and sing with the band. 14.end out 25 randotes. (Notes/postcards with nice words to random strangers) 15. Job shadow for our dream job. 16.Meet the cast of Buried Life. 17.Go to a baseball game, eat Franks and sing Sweet Caroline just like Fever Pitch. 18.Go to a country bar and line dance. 19.Send out flowers (nice ones) and a card to a random faculty member on campus. 20.Hang out at an old folks home and talk to them. No one does these days. 21.Go to a museum. 22.Make a video montage of others - What do you want to do before you die?

23.Go to at least 5 University of Oregon sport games.

24.Spend a whole day eating junk food without feeling guilty

25.Join the Big Brother/ Big sister program. 26. Go to a rock concert, crowd surf and then mosh it up. 27.Plant a tree (maybe get it named after us at school too) 28.People watch for a few hours. 29.Write a good and meaningful thank you letter to someone(no fam) of great impact. 30.Take a hike up Spencer's Butte 31. up in full 80’s gear and go to class. (bright colors and sweat gear and all) 32.Sauvie’s Island (naked beach in Oregon) 33.Go to a really fancy restaurant, dress up and leave a nice ;) tip. 34.Eat sushi. 35.Get on TV ( a good channel, not like a public broadcasting either) 36.Give a stranger a ten. 37.Send a message in a bottle. 38.Pay for the 5 people after you at Starbucks. 39.Throw the first pitch at a baseball game. 40.Take a stranger out for dinner. 41.Go on a blind date ( 40 and 41 can not be done with the same person) 42.Write an article for a major publication 43.Dance with Ellen D. 44.Street perform and make at least fifty... don’t stop until you get enough. 45.Run/walk for a cure. 46. Read a book to kids at an elementary school. 47.Play ball with a famous B-Ball player. 48.Sell lemonade at a Lemonade Stand. 49.Play the Lottery. 50.Send flowers to Mom (Teni’s) and Grandma (Magniola’s) 51.Stay out all night partying and go to class the next day without showering. 52.Go camping. (Legit camping, no trailers, no nuffin’) 53. Fast for three days (Sooo Magniola’s idea. Why she chose it, no one knows). 54.Milk a cow. 55.Finish a FATTY puzzle. (like 500+ pieces). 56.Read the book Lolita. ( We saw this online, we have no clue what the book is about) 57.Get a deep tissue massage and then a manicure. (To salons: we'll promote you to others if you give us one for free or at a cheap price. 58.Go to a chill restaurant like Red Robs and get everyone to sing the same song. 59.Flashmob! 60.Fund raise for a charity for kids. (anyone have any ideas of a good charity?) 61.Rush the field for football. 62.Get hired at a job -like a fast food joint- just to storm out and quit causing a scene. 63. Send a secret to Post Secret. (check out the site @ www.postsecret.com) 64.Go to a restaurant, don’t pay the bill and see what happens. (Wash the dishes?) 65.Try out for American Idol/ ANTM/ So you think you dance 66.Help deliver a baby. 67.Fire a gun - a real one with bullets 68.Play with the LARPs outside the EMU (Live Action Role Playing - it's a club here at school) 69.Dress up for halloween and go trick-or-treating. 70.Interview the infamous Eugene Biker guy, take a picture with him, ask him “the question”. (He's the one that rides down 13th yelling obscene things about LTD) 71.Be on the Wendy Show - open it. Maybe even ask her the question...who knows 72.Go crabbing 73.Go fishing 74.Create and EPIC scavenger hunt.
