Since we both love to explore, cook and eat, we find it interesting to team up and make a food blog that will also benefit many readers where they will be able to discover new ideas and unique recipes from our native Filipino dishes. This will benefit millennials who are yet to know and discover about our country's native delicacies.

B.Food Background
Our chosen recipe comes from the (better inset adjective example "the queen city of the South") This recipe called pakbet ilocano is really different from our usual pinakbet. The difference is, in cavite region people used to put bagoong alamang and ginisang baboy. But in ilocos they usually put fish sauce and fried/grilled fish as the ingredients and seasonings. Together with vegetables like ampalaya, eggplant, kamote, okra, onion,garlic, tomato and patani.
Ii. Food Recipe/Procedure
Procedure:
Ingredients
Bagoong Ampalaya
Eggplant
Sweet potato
Okra
Onion
Garlic Tomato
Grilled fish
Patani
Salt Water
First, make sure all the ingredients are ready. Chop off all the vegetables and clean the fish before cooking. Next, put the fish on the grilling pan. While grilling/While waiting for the fish to grill, in a separate pan, put 1/4 cup of oil then sauté the 1 onion 1 garlic and tomato.
Once the onion and garlic is cooked and the tomato is already smushy, put all the vegetables needed for the pakbet. After putting them all, add a cup of water and let it simmer. If the dish is already simmering, check if the vegetables are getting cooked. Then put the bagoong alamang and 2 pinch of salt to taste. While waiting for it to simmer, put the grilled fish together with the vegetables. Wait for around 3 minutes and your dish is now ready to serve.
