☆゚*·゚ chuckling, kasin leaned back against the bench he was currently sitting on. with a snack in his hand, he raised his eyebrows looking over at the person in front of him. "that's not really the best idea, but if you can make me laugh, i won't tell," he stated, taking a bite of his pastry. kasin was what you'd describe as a good cop. it wasn't the right phrasing, but he much preferred to give people the benefit of the doubt then turn them in for something they could fix on their own.
where & when: the forest , morning.
pestering: @foxedthief , kasin.
it's been a while since she pulled out her bow and arrows. ever since the misfortune that struck her family, she'd been rather careful with her things, not being able to afford to lose or break her arrows and bowstring the way she used to in the past. while she could make do with restringing her bow, as she still had spare strings from her last purchase a couple of years ago, replacing arrows was not so easy -- or cheap.
it was a nightmare!
while she'd never been careless with her things, nor did she break them on purpose, qingyue was used to being comfortable in making pricey errors. now she had to amplify the carefulness. clicking her tongue against the roof of her mouth, qingqing fixed a dark stare upon her practice partner.
"are you sure about it? that tree looks like it's one dent away from collapsing in on itself. as much as a girl loves and thrives in chaos, I'd rather not demolish the flora and potential fauna around prism. can we use something else for target practice? something less... infected with termites?" she scrunched her nose in a distasteful manner.
☆゚*·゚a laugh slipped through kasin's lips at her response. he took a few steps toward and placed his hand upon the tree, rubbing his thumb against it. "i was thinking about it as more to put the tree out of its misery," he explained, still highly amused. walking around the tree, he turned back to look at her. "but i'll put a word in with the tree guys to come out and look at it." lightly, he rubbed the tree. it didn't matter to him where they practiced. because all it was about was spending time with someone that enjoyed being around. "do you have a favorite tree?"
practicing archery with someone that actually enjoyed it made it even more fun. because not only could they actually improve their skills, but they could create fun challenges between the two of them. "is there anything you wanted to work on today? or did you want to create some fun games to practice?"
dislike(s): spicy food, homeless people, people with lots of money that lord it over others
three aesthetics: the satisfaction of a soup kitchen and offering food to those who need it, messy hair that’s always ruffled or out of place, the sound of boots stomping on the cobblestone pathways
biography:
Kasin never knew what family was. He’d been alone for as long as he could remember, left by his parents, but it never bothered him. He found family in those around him, doing what he needed to survive. From a very young age, he made a point to help those that needed it, because they did the same thing for him. It was always those less fortunate that cared more, because they knew what you needed, and for Kasin, that’s how he realized who he could and couldn’t trust. He knew who was powerful, who didn’t pay attention, and who was easy to steal food and money from. It just became part of his life, trying to give back to those that protected him as a child the more and more he aged. And he was good at it.
His house became his safe haven, the place where he kept everything safe, under the floorboards, hidden behind cabinets, stuffed underneath his mattress. But somehow, it still didn’t feel enough. He didn’t feel like he could protect those he cared about enough. And that was how he became a patrol officer, wanting to protect his friends. If he could keep them out of trouble, that’s what he’d do. Because then, Kasin learned the ins and outs of the law, the ways to get around everything, what rules he could and couldn’t break without anyone knowing, and how to keep his friends safe.
Knowing he had the power and skill only made Kasin feel more and more special. He knew he was good at what he did, not only his patrolling job, but at stealing right from underneath their noses without them realizing.
personality:
kasin is a bit, okay well, a lot of a trouble maker. he thoroughly enjoys being rather mischievous. flirting is right up his alley and rather fun to him, as it allows him to have a bit of fun with just about anyone. he's chivalrous, to just about anyone if it'll get him something out of it. especially if it'll help those that he cares about. he enjoys a bit of a riddle, something that makes him think about life. but he's kind to those that deserve it. but that doesn't mean he's not a bit arrogant and conceited, because he is. he knows he's good at what he does and he'll take advantage of that.
