        little hermes  ,  boy  silver  with  wings  of  steel   :   what  a  grim  ,  grotesque  reminder  of  the  days  she  once  thought  she  had  discarded  to  the  wind.  she  fox  was  never  salem ‘ s  priority  ,  just  a  mere  pawn  in  order  for  the  beginning  to  an  end  to  progress  ,  nothing  more   &.   nothing  less   ,  though  blanc  knew  her  fleeing  would  not  come  without  consequence.  after  all  she ‘ s  done  for  the  wicked  witch  ,  after  how  bloodied  her  hands  shall  always  be   &.   all  she  has  seen  ,  it  would  be  a  foolish  thought  to  ever  think  she  would  be  free.   an  air  of  uncertainty  grows  ever  thick  around  the  young  god   &.  faux  deity  ,  gaze  narrowing   &.  flickering  between  blue   &.  pink  as  a  warning  sign.  blanc  is  prepared  should  she  need  be.    ❛    the  pelt  of  a  runaway  would  certainly  be  quite  the  trophy  ,   but  what  do  you  have  to  gain  ?  are  you  here  for  you   ...  or  are  you  just  another  puppet  she  is  controlling   ?  for  one  so  fond  of  his  own  life  ,  your  strings  seem  rather  tight.    ❜

        hesitance   &.   the  act  of  guarding  oneself  from  human  contact  is  an  art  blanc  has  mastered  far  too  well  ,   &.   yet  now  ,  when  faced  with  little  lamb  red  ,  a  molten  silver  gaze  that  seemingly  peers  into  the  enigma ‘ s  soul   ,   girl  fox  finds  it  difficult  to  flee  nor  think  of  her  semblance  as  a  means  to  an  end.  chiffon  tails  flick   &.   writhe  ‘round  form  ,  powder  blue  stare  avoiding  connection  with  rose  youth ‘ s  from  a  place  spawned  paranoia.    ❛    perhaps  ...  it  would  be  wise  of  you  to  heed  the  tales  of  the  monster  fox  that  wanders  these  woods  ,  little  rose.  lest  you  fall  victim  like  all  the  rest.   ❜    &.  please  ,   do  not  look  at  me  with  the  hope  that  shimmers  so  brightly  in  those  glistening  silver  eyes.

u know ive realized blanc speaks in metaphors a lot to keep ppl thinking abt That instead of her which. makes it easier to trick them / ensures she leaves as little of an impression as possible

just a thought before bed : if blanc ever comes across her old shrines , she brushes any dust or leaves away with her tails. they’re old , hardly used anymore saved for the rare coins or beads in the offering slots &. have very little significance to her now , but sometimes she still feels the need to honour her upbringing. even in very small ways.
