my opinion: i think it's very important that he's a bit pathetic about his looney tunes escape. he should be tripping on some slight bump in the flooring and rolling down stairs but as it would happen, this is exactly what he needs to be narrowly missed by 10,000 arrows, spikes, flamethrower talisman traps, he is screaming the whole way down and even once his momentum from the fall runs out he keeps rolling and scrabbling voluntarily to continue his string of near-misses. his melon seeds go everywhere and jam up some of the exposed mechanisms.

really like the idea that shen yuan and shen jiu aren’t two separate people, but rather the same soul existing in different dimensions. shen yuan might think that he’s not shen jiu, that he just stole the body and life of shen jiu, but in reality he IS shen jiu, just with different memories.

some people like to think that shen jiu and shen yuan swapped places when they died but i really like the idea of the universe placing shen yuan back in a world he already existed in before, just with new memories now. sort of like a villain redemption arc to give shen yuan the opportunity to make up for his past sins without him even knowing it <3

ok so do you guys remember when i said that quanyin were just bingqiu in an au… ok au where yin yu really did transmigrate and in the version of tgcf HE read, quan yizhen was one of the deuteragonists with a tragic luo binghe style backstory while yin yu was his evil cannon fodder shixiong who killed him, and then when quan yizhen became a calamity he came back and tortured his evil shixiong yin yu…

except transmigrator yin yu doesn’t kill quan yizhen when he’s supposed to while they’re still mortals. he’s also actually a good person compared to the original so it’s no surprise to anyone else when he ascends even though he’s freaking tf out bc the original never ascended. and then quan yizhen fucking ascends. and yin yu freaks out even harder because none of this was in the book and he’s derailed the plot so hard… and then the whole brocade immortal scene happens (maybe the system decided to try and get things back on track by killing yizhen) and then. well. yknow. like when you put it that way i think yin yu’s weirdo actions make a lot of sense

he walks up and down the river everyday for three months until he finally comes across newborn luo binghe floating along the freezing river in a little basket. he takes baby binghe back home to cqms with him and all his martial siblings and disciples are like “bro where the fuck did you get this baby” and shang qinghua panics and tells them all that he gave birth to binghe himself. they didn’t even know that this guy had a partner or could get pregnant but stranger things have happened so they’re all chill w it

he brings binghe back and forth between the demon realm and the human realm w him on his work trips. the first time mobei jun sees binghe he freaks out bc he thinks he’s binghe’s father based on the fact that he and shang qinghua held hands for five seconds one time

eventually binghe still gets accepted to qing jing when he’s older but shen qingqiu isn’t stupid enough to bully another peak lord’s kid. then when shen yuan transmigrates he hears luo binghe call shang qinghua “baba” and absolutely loses it
